Good morning everyone.
Day off work today :j
Although I was only at work 2 days this week it was a nightmare couple of days. The figures for our quarterly bonus were announced yesterday and my boss finally told me what I would be getting five minutes before I finished last night. I swear she does things like this coz she knows it annoys people
Also it felt like every customer either wanted to complain or tell me their life story. Wouldn't mind if they had a valid complaint but most of the time they don't!
Have a load of washing in just now and if enough room to hang any more will do another load.
Need to go to Lidls and Morrisons as well - don't need too much tho'. Freezer still seems quite packed. It never seems to empty?!?
Also must nip to the post office and perhaps the library.
And if there is any time left in the day then the hoover and duster will come out
Well have a great day folks0 -

I've looked in Sainsburys, Tescos and Somerfield - they're the only supermarkets in my area.Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -
Forgot to mention that OH went to Asda/Sainsburys last night about 10'ish and got a few good offers. He bought Extra Special salmon fishcakes x 3 (21p each), Extra Special cod fishcakes x 2(21p each), cabbage reduced to 5p, small tuna steak (20p), apple danish x 2 (10p), organic milk 2 pints x 4 (20p)fresh tyme (5p), salad (10p), 2 x fresh loaves (10p) clementime bag (20p), waldorf salad (5p), TTD Garlic Ciabatta (10p), Chicken Thigh/Legs x 2 Organic (50p), and some other bits we needed and think he spent in total about £15. Most items will be frozen though and eaten later.:D
OH said that both Asda and Sainsburys had Stardrops in there last night.
Postman has just bought me my visa bill:rolleyes: 3 x £1 vouchers and a free rimmel lipstick. Also another appointment for monday at kings, so now will definitly be up there all day:eek:
DD has just eaten her scrambled egg on toast and OH is already in garden doing some more sorting;)

Morning
I remember being very annoyed when I was at primary school, because all the kids in my neighbourhood went to one of two primary schools and me and my sister went to the one that didn't get us a day off school every time there was an election
Am still in dressing gown at the mo but will be off within the next 45 mins to pop into the school across the road to vote, then head over to Bexleyheath for a browse at the new farmers' market. Unfortunately the freezer is packed solid at the moment, so won't be able to take advantage of any meat deals - I'll be looking out for non perishables instead, such as preserves. While I'm there I'm supposed to be meeting Ivyleaf for coffee, and will also have a scout round the charity shops and TK Maxx. STILL haven't found that spring coat I'm after, and could also do with a second pair of jeans if I find a good bargain.
See you later, hope everybody's having a good day!

Morning all :hello:
Just a quick note before I head off on my "residential" trip with the school. Thank goodness it's only for one night. Phew! I'm already exhausted thinking about it!
I took the bus into work this morning, which is the first time ever. It's quite handy as the bus drops me right outside the school! It's because I don't want to leave my car at school overnight. Goodness knows how many tyres I'd find on it tomorrow. I would consider taking the bus all the time, but the times going home are a little dubious. I'll also have to work out how much a season ticket would cost.................... We'll see.
Anyway, I'd better go. I'll hopefully be back on tomorrow night.

Morning all
Lovely day here (so far anyway) - skies are blue and it's lovely and warm out there. Not working today and was planning to cut the grass but my backs playing up so will leave it to DH.
Have done a quick whip round of the house - just need to make beds once they've aired and then I'm off for a soak to ease my back.
All my seeds seem to have sprouted overnight - runner beans and courgettes are a little slow but the lettuce one's have shot up by about half an inch - amazing.
Need to make some rolls later and use up some spare chicken in a curried chicken and spinache quiche.
Just had a "quick - get your new tax credits claim in now" pack......that's a joke when they've not even sorted out last years......
DH's job will be officially moving offices in September - it's 45 miles away and they're paying all travel expenses for 2 years (regardless of car sharing) so he's got 2 people lined up to share with which will give up a nice little bonus...he'll also get a nice lump sum at the end of each quarter for staying with the company....it will actually pay for a new (to us) car (ours is on it's last legs) which is great as we really didn't want to fork out for one from our savings.
Brekkie - toasted rolls
Lunch - various filled wraps for DD's and DH
Dinner - Curried chicken and spinache quiche with jacket spud and salad.

Queenie Pay those bills
PP I wish my DH was a bargain hunter like yours
Vicky Good luck - you'll need it
Stressedout I didn't realise you were only one county over from me, I come there shopping in the covered market sometimes, we'll have to meet up for coffee
Shez - an office by yourself! You poor devil, I did that once, never again, I get more contact being a SAHM than I did then, never mind you can always quit if you really hate it.
DS went out and strimmed the garden for me last night, I have to check what a mess he has made of itDD is home with me all day
And I am waiting for a phone call to tell me dad's car is ready to be picked up, I can't do it today though as I have no one to follow me down when I have dropped the car off and there is no way I am getting in a car with my dad.
I have a mountain of washing to get done, one load is on and I have to take the stepladder out in the garden to put my line back up. The menfolk took it down when they were having a bonfire, shows how big their bonfires are
Have a lovely day everyone.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
