Afternoon Peeps!!
SIL has just gone and was able to sort all ebay stuff under the stairs into neat piles, the blinds, the floors and the ironing:D
Have decided with the ebay stuff to list 10 items a week as I have so much and is being added to all the time. Its all good quality items of clothing etc that has either not been worn or very little. My system is this: sell items on ebay, put money from sales into seperate account, then use this fund to buy other clothing items etc needed for future, so in theory we shouldnt spend any money on clothes;)
The washload that was dried on the line has now been folded and put either away or in the ironing basket for next week:eek:...poor SIL....lol.
DD came home with practice papers for her SATS last friday, so she will be doing one of those this evening. Her teacher is predicting level 5 on all subjects and the SATS results can sometimes be used for year 1 secondary to determine sets etc, but am unsure wether her new school does this-either way it doesnt matter...as long as she does her best!
BargainRzl is popping in for a cuppa tomorrow afternoon and am really looking forward to it. Shall we go posh with cup and saucer or mugs hun.....up to you:D Text me if any problems and I will do likewise. Good luck with the haircut am sure it will look lovely! I may even let you have a go on me new rollercoaster...better than Alton Towers:p Shall we get a picture of you and I and post it...LOL?:rotfl:
Having my fav fishpie for dinner tonight with loads of cheddar on top....yummy. Will be making quite a big one and there should be about 4 portions left over which will be used tomorrow for lunch and 2-3 in the freezer for later.
Dont know if anyone can help, but we are awaiting £50 worth of Nectar points to be credited and SIL said today that our iron is on its way out and is drinking the water and not getting hot enough. There is a cheapish Steam Generator in Argos with a 3 year cover for £60 and was wondering if anyone could recommendIts this one:http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4109536.htm
the nearest priced one which is equivalent is over £100 and if paying out for the 3 year cover it will just be replaced if goes wrong. Its only costing us a tenner really-SIL swears by them and a decent iron is normally £20-£30....anyone....help????
Anyways, better go as DD & OH will be in any moment.
Take care all.
Hugs

Afternoon all.
Had THE worst day at w**k - I work in a bank and people can't seem to cope without the bank for more than 2 days so after a bank holiday they all go mad! We had queues to the door all day, and then to top it all off a customer phoned to complain that I'd short changed her, so I balanced my till and it was right so I can't possibly have done that. Have to wait till tomorrow till my mananger's back to see what he says about it all.
Ok, rant over, this evening I plan to make something yummy for tea (possibly an omlette or linguine cabonara) do the washing up that's lingering in the sink and do a load of washing.
Hope everyone's had a good day and hugs to all that need them.0 -

MushyPeas wrote:P.S. skystar - how do you manage to normally get up when the alarm goes off? I just can't do it
Hi MushyPeas normally I wake up before the alarm goes off. Its like my body has its own little alarm clock. The problem with this is on a day off I am usually awake at 6:15am. My little alarm clock doesn't know when to switch off :rolleyes:0 -
Dorry
Thank you for the "German" good wishes - as my dad is very Scottish I am sure he will take this in the spirit in which it is meant. lol
