Morning All
Not much done here as was w***ing last night and when I Got home found the rabbit being worried by a cat so had to spend a while in the garden soothing him as he was freaked out, so not long up. Wonder what the neigbours think of the mad women in the garden at 3am talking to the rabbit .
Off on the duck bus to day with DD and DS and my friend is coming through from wigan with her DS. Which should be fun in the weather holds and my to can stop turning every conversation I have with them into an arguement  .
A friend had a baby boy last night 9bls 2, cant wait to see him, so must remember to pick a gift up today while in town.
Kazonline Hi and hope your special meal goes well.

Hi all
Sorry I haven't been of for a few days, but things have been a bit pants
Firstly, ((hugs)) to PP, sorry you aren't feeling great.
Last time I logged on I had received a phonecall from my solicitor that I was ready to exchange. Then on Thursday I received a call that there was a problem with my mortgage, had to get loads of taxis everywhere to sort things out! Sorted, sat in my solicitor's office till 1745 ready to exchange that day as had been told if we didn't exchange the vendor would pull out. We didn't exchange, problem up the line.
Then on Friday (vendor had been persuaded not to pull out) I received a call from solicitor saying the house she was buying, the house they were buying had fallen through. Vendor has now gone on holiday for two weeks so now after everything I might have lost the house
Then on Friday my friend phoned to tell me she had seen my ex driving around with a girl he had promised he was not seeing whilst he was going out with me, seems he lied. It's been four weeks now and it is still very painful. Dropped my sick note into work on Monday, got upset when I saw his car.
So there is my rubbish tale of woeHence being in hiding. Gosh, reading this back I sound like a right misery guts!
Feeling a teesy bit better today, WM on, pile of ironing to tackle and my Gran is taking me out for lunch. Oh and the sun is shining!
Hopefully everything can only be positive from now on.
Take care all

Hiya :hello:
ronankfan - congrats on your win, how lucky :j
Having a lovely at home day with the boys. I watched a kids film this morning with DS1, all tucked up in my bed and having a big cuddle. It was nice for him not having to compete with DS2 for 'hug' timeDS2 was playing with his trains in the living room.
I'm about to venture into the garden to hang the washing out and put another load in WM. It's a lovely day here so I can get caught up with the laundry with any luck. I've promised DS2 we will make cakes later - I have some ripe banans so will be deciding which of the many banana cake recipes to makeI'm sure we can run to a few buns then they can be let loose with the icing and decorations - maybe that can be a treat for tomorrow.
I have yet to decide what's for tea - may make HM burgers cos DS1 wanted them the other day and I found a burger press a while ago that I haven't used yet. On that note - may even try making bread rolls - may as well while the oven is on.
Ok- this isn't getting anything done and it's nearly lunchtime :cheesy: I shall go and survey my poor tree again and decide quite what to do with it. Mind you, the bottle of wine I was brought was very nice - I only had the 1 glass so plenty left for later(Yes, Nels, it IS possible to leave some in the bottle :rotfl:)
Have a good day and ((hugs)) to everyone feeling under the weather or put upon.

Morning all....but only just
I decided I deserved a lie in (it had nothing to do with the fact I was up until 1am watching Prison Break...honest
) so I stayed in bed until 10.30, but DD got in with me at 9.30 so it's not as if I was asleep  So far this morning I've had a good chat with DD about what she got upto while she was camping at the weekend, made breakfast and erm....washed my hair. I'm still in my PJ's and I'm going to go for a bath in a few minutes while DD watches Springwatch on Cbeebies (she's been promised that she can have an icecream if she stays on the sofa while I have a bath
) .
What to do for the rest of the dayI still have at least 1 load of washing to do, the clothes from yesterday might make up another load, but it's the towels that will probably take forever as there's loads of them
I also have dishes that still need to be washed (OH washed some last night but there's still baking trays and a mixing bowl to do) and since this is going to be the coolest of the next few days I may venture outside and try thinning out my pansy and Livingstone Daisy seedlings. I have a couple of other jobs that need to be done out there as well so I might do them...or I might bake...or I might do the ironing....or I might just go on UKcompetitions and see if I can win something :rotfl: Who knows.

OH has got out TTD lamb finest chops for dinner and is going down Lidls later to buy some new potatoes and french beans...yummy
Breakie:Tea & biccies

Hi guys, I was told i could join in this thread so I am. thank you so much for being so inviting.
Mushypeas I'm so sorry to hear of all that's going on with you. I hope it all works out (sometimes it does). (((((hugs)))))) to you and i'm sending you good vibes all day.
ronankfan congratulations on your tickets. you must have some great luck. i hope you enjoy your concerts.
all who aren't feeling well hope you all get better soon. it's no fun being sniffly
I found the butchers in my area (not far at all really, just a 10 min walk - stroll with doggie). I managed to spend about £17 on meat, but that will last me and OH for two weeks, so i think that's not too bad. and i did buy a lovely leg of pork to roast. so that should be nice.
i went into about 5 poundstores trying to find microfibre cloths, but couldn't seem to be able to find them anywhere. i'll just have to keep my eyes open for them.
only just realised i passed about 3 banks and didn't stop in to get some coinbags. oh well, at least i know there are some closeby, so i can get them tomorrow. i remember when i used to be really embarrassed to go into the bank with all those coins. now...i just don't care.
i can't believe i've lived in this are for so many years and really didn't have the time or the inclination to walk around to find things. it's only because of this board that i am now motivated to find the cheapest alternative to alot of things...go figure.
anyway, i'm rambling, just saying hi and hope the rest of the day goes better for all.MFW Newbie - #17. (#116 in 2019)

Well I'm bathed and dressed...finally :rotfl: Not exactly the bath I originally planned for Sunday night but at least I'm clean and feeling much more awake than I have done since I started feeling off last week
One wash load is out on the line, a load of towels is in the machine and my seedlings are sitting out on the patio table getting some sun, infact I'm about to put my money plant out there while I get on with the washing up and then reviewing of the budget :eek: then I'll bring it back in around 5ish before I do tea. I've also been through the fridge and chucked out some stuff thats been open since Sunday at least and needs to be thrown out (I always read the label about how long to keep stuff before I chuck it). The ready-roasted chicken (Sage and onion flavour  ) we bought on Sunday has been "processed", the meat that was left is going in the freezer for a pie on Sunday and the carcus is now in a pan of hot water ready for making some chicken soup :drool:
Meanwhile DD is sitting watching Pinky Dinky Doo on Cbeebies while reading her new joke book. I couldn't stand much more of "What do you do if you have an {insert animal here} in your cafe? .... Feed it!!" I think a few of the mothers at school will also thank me for the change :rotfl: For the second day running she is being as good as gold and I don't really know she's here. As soon as this programme is finished its homework time though so she can read some more of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" to me, I think we're upto needing to read 6 sides tonightWill have to sit down and work out where we ideally (according to my plan of 3 sides a night) need to be upto by the time she goes back to school on Monday.
Better get on with it as the washing machine has just finished spinning

Busy week this week, Monday doing a job for my stepson, Yesterday cook up ready for my grand children today. I made PP's banana loaf, not sure why but it took a lot longer then the recipe said to cook the tin was almost full, think if I make it again I will use less ingredients.
Daughter and children here today, I had chicken salad and a pear for lunch they had bacon and tomato pasta, oranges in jelly and ice-cream with home made bread.... OH has just gone ot take them back, I think we will have boiled eggs for supper when he gets back.
