    I've been Money Tipped!
    :hello: Good Morning!

Weather a bit better so far here in the south east! Lets hope it stays that way. Sowed some basil yesterday and need to sow some spinach beet today. It grows so well around here (well our neighbours have plenty of it in their garden every year!) If it stays sunny I will harvest some more rosemary and dry it in the micro for 1 minute and pop into a container in the larder. I use loads of this as roast spuds with rosemary taste yummy.

Breakfast - hm muesli (must make up some more today)
Lunch - leftover hm veg soup
Dinner - Spaghetti with pesto and very garlicy italian sausages (must use these up as they are very smelly! I can even smell them from the freezer  )

Hope it's a good day for everyone!

Feeling much better today. Thanks to everyone for their best wishes. It really does help during those 'yuk' moments. Blood tests all booked for a couple of weeks time (which I am scared about as I hate needles and can have panic attacks). However, its for beans sake...so I must go through it.

Tesco delivery turned up yesterday as expected....had a cheats dinner. They had some Hot chicken tikka and naan bread on bogof....so I bought some for my partner and got something nice for myself. Went down a treat.

Tonight it looks like its going to be spag bol (as we've got enough mince to feed an army)

Greetings from freezing cold Oz :D

Had a lovely day today. All by myself. :p In the kitchen dept I made some soup which could double as wallpaper glue :D think I added too much barley.:o Made 2 loaves of bread which I needed a chain saw to slice :D but tasted nice. Cleaned the house throughly & caught up with the laundry. Found all sorts of things stuffed under lounge that DGS must have put there. ;) Ah bless him. Took the dogs for a brisk walk & wandered by a house that's empty with a full load of oranges on a tree. Should I or shouldn't I? I will saunter by tomorrow to get the lay of the land so to speak. 347.gif:D

    Welcome Kazonline.
PP hope you feel happier as the day wears on.

    Morning :hello:

My new step video came yesterday so I am planning on rushing home after work, and after tea at mum's to do that!! Watched it last night looks like it's gonna be a hard one!!

Really busy today at w*** lots to do but I prefer to be busy mid week and get things done then have a quiet day Fridays!

PP, hope you start to feel better as the day goes on.

manicdays, glad your starting to feel better again

elona, hope your dad agrees to the halfway stage, i'm sure it will help them to assess further how he's going to cope if he goes home

aussielass - go for the oranges!! either that or just knock on the door and ask, it can't do any harm!!

    Breakfast - fruit and fibre
Lunch - cheese and beetroot on brown
Tea - mum's, think it's steak and chips! mmm

Have a lovely day all, looks like the weathers not too bad here!

    Hi everyone,

Sorry some of you are not feeling too well today.

The sun is shining here in Lancashire, which is good as DS is on a football course today at the local leisure centre and it is outdoor, so he won't get wet. He went on a similar course in October and was like a drowned rat when I picked him up. He enjoyed it though!

Not a very OS day for me. Back at w**k after having yesterday off but I am having my hair done at lunchtime (thank goodness for flexitime) and am going out for tea with a couple of colleague/former colleagues for a curry. We started one lunchtime when we were all a bit fed up and there is a restaurant in Preston that does a lunchtime meal for £5 (poppadom, choice of curry and ice cream). Now we aren't all working together but we keep up the tradition of the curry club. However, the one we use now is a little more expensive! Still, it is good to keep in touch with friends.

My hairdresser used to be mobile until she had a baby. Now she has a converted garage that she uses as a salon at her house. It is all very professional, with a backwash and all the equipment and everything. I have my roots touched up and a cut and blow dry for £42. It is a couple of pounds extra if I have my highlights done but today is just roots.

Yesterday was very OS! I planted out my tomatoes that I have grown from seed on the windowsill into grow bags in my mum's greenhouse. I have nine 'moneymaker' plants and three 'california wonder' peppers in the greenhouse, as well as some pots with chillies in and several 'tumbling tom' tomatoes to go into tubs outside when the risk of frost is gone. (They will probably go out this weekend.) I also have some courgette plants in pots at home that need planting in the garden either at mum's or at home or both. Hopefully I will get the opportunity this weekend to set out a raised bed in the garden for lettuce and radish and possibly carrots. (I know they are late but worth a go?) Phew! My hands feel like brillo pads, definitely in need of some tlc.

We have a new Netto opening nearby on Thursday with some great offers. I want to go to get a Kettle, toaster, sandwich toaster and kitchen clock set for £29.99. We are buying a house in Wales for OH to live in whilst he is working there so we will need to buy all the household stuff for it. I think this is a good start. I'll be on the lookout for crockery, kitchenware, glasses, pans etc too. I'll have a look in the charity shops over the next few weeks.

Have a great day everyone. enjoy the sunshine! :j

    Morning everyone.

I just can't seem to get started today. I need to do yet more marking, so i need to find my motivation from somewhere. I think its because nextdoor are back from their holidays and i can hear them washing/hoovering and see them in the garden, and it puts me to shame what they get done in a day.

So far, i have washed my hair and had a bath, played on the internet for a while, had breakfast, and got a parcel delivered. it was my nappy changing bag that i had ordered. I know it was a luxury at £65, but it is a Kipling bag, it is fully insulated so i'll be able to transport baby food without it getting hot, and it has a changing mat that came with it. I am really happy about it even if it isn't very OS. If it redeems me, i will get £6.50 of pigsback points with it, and i shall smile every time i look at it.

i have got two very fussy cats today that just want to be right next to me. It's making it hard to do anything as whenever i move, they are under my feet. It is getting harder to manouvere round them with my growing belly. Fred was so engrossed in trying to get stroked, that he fell off the chair. Daft thing. :rotfl:

Plans for the day - decide on what to have for tonights meal, make a loaf in the BM, put a load through WM, and try to mark more than the 45 papers i did yesterday without being too tired to do anything else. DH kindly left me with last nights washing up as he had to go back to work last night, so he was only in between 7 and 9:30. And i wonder why the pair of us are always so tired.

Anyway, i'm going to stop procrastinating.

Ronankfan - well done on your competition win. Sounds exciting to me.

PP - hope you are feeling less down later. Hugs.

Catowen - remember you will still have a fab holiday even if you miss out on one or two rides as it is such a magical place. I will have to save up as i would love to go there one day myself, although now i might wait until the family is complete and grown up enough to remember it.

Elona - hope your cold starts feeling better soon. It will then be easier for you to cope with helping your dad.

    Good morning all!

Up early this morning, and put a chilli in the SC. Having trouble with DS2 wetting the bed at the moment, so the WM went on early. Then all 3 of us walked the puppy to the vets for worming tablets etc. Our vets is adjacent to a lovely big hill/fields/country park, so we had a fabby walk in the sunshine afterwards.

I have also cleaned the kitchen (with Stardrops!), and put the puppy's blankets in to wash. Phew!

DH is home tonight (he works away during the week) - and he's not back at work until Monday - hurray!! Nothing planned - just a BBQ on Friday if the weather stays nice.
