BTW, sorry about lack of paragraphs in my postings ATM - am having some problems with the site (again) - it won't let me do any formatting either, and my edit function won't work! Anyway, one thing I forgot to say was that I was chatting briefly on MSN with Jo (jw1096) last night and she says she's v. busy with revision and is still recovering from tonsillitis. She says she should be back on MSE on Sunday.

Hi Everyone
Late on today despite being at work since 5.30am. Having a really bad day at the office. Snide comments flying around, which has really narked me off. Can't wait to get out of here today. I'm so annoyed, I've already eaten all the food I've brought in.
Going out tonight to a presentation evening - I'm covering it not receiving anything. Should be a laugh though as there's salsa dancing and entertainment. At least I've something to look forward tooComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -

Spending this morning hoping to get a phone call re aids in my dad's flat being arranged. Need to go there this afternoon to see handrails are fitted and was told that there might be an assessment done on the flat on Friday - that is tomorrow - but have not heard a thing so far.
Want to bet that the minute I leave the house - there will be a phone call!
Going to post some books from Amazon later and have a look at the charity shop. Need to go and hang out dad's washing as it is a decent drying day for once."This site is addictive!"

morning all..
well what a day ive had, last night went to help at the school disco as ive done loads in the past, but unfortunaltey i got into a scuffle with a yr 6 lad who has been a little horror to most kids but last night picked on my daughter. The names he was calling her for no reason some names 11 yr olds shouldnt know. told him i was taking him to the headmaster who was supervision the disco the kid pushed me and i grabbed his shirt collar and threatned to knock his head off his bloody shoulders.. firstly i know i shouldnt have touched him and straight away apologised to the other parents and helpers and the head teacher..
off course mummys little darling went home and told a different story and mummy came ranting and raving as im sure we would all do.. The good thing is that she has had her eyes opened but is still threanting the police .. will wait and see the outcome if that happens.. All morning ive been having mums who ive seen but dont actually know come up and support me because he has been a horror to loads of kids and making their lifes hell on the estate they all live in.. they will all support me if i need it etc..
knew i should have stayed in last night..

Purpleprincess, like you, I only seem to be having problems when I log on from work, though it's only intermittent. I suspect what I really need to do is log out, clear the cookies, and log back in, but on my work PC the Internet Options menu is disabled so I can't do this. ((((hugs)))) jockettuk.

Bargain Rzl - we were going to knock him down £150, so £1800 is a true bargain! The power of the internet - we asked the garage to price match (never dreaming that they would, but it was a good place to start negotiating) & they said yes! The finance has come via one of Martin's money tips (at a staggeringly low 5.6% apr) so it will be a true MSE-mobile :money:
jockettuk - how did you not strangle the little brat?! Well done you. How some parents don't see what horrid kids they have is beyond me?
I've just had a email from lx direct offering me an account (I bought my Mum's birthday present from there) at 32.9% APR  32.9%. That's scandalous.0 -
Hi Yall, just got back from the hospital having Miss MATH's cast taken off (YAY) managed to get the to allow to have it done at a nearby cottage hospital which was much less faffing about, cleaner and nicer.
Mrs MATH is out tonight so the kids and I will have something quick and junky (just as well as I have no time to make owt) Off to the coast tomorrow so hoping for some nicer weather next week.
Well I can put it off no longer my paid2clicks are calling as is the pile of ironing but I'm ignoring that one LOL. I've slipped somewhat in the OS league. If Sqeaky gave out report cards mine would read "Must do better" LOL. I will try and do better next month (perhaps)
Luv and Hugs to all who have received bad news especially Jackie0 and TM, and to anyone who feels under the weather and fed up.
MATH xLife's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0
