Anybody who fancies coming along is more than welcome. I am nervous - I've never met anybody from the internet before - so foreverskint if you decide to come along you can be nervous with me.
Snowy, I felt like this too before the OS meet in Blackpool earlier this month but BargainRzl is such a sweetheart you have nothing to worry about!
Although she does swear like a trooper...............

What??!!!
I'm glad I live up north, that would cost about £60-70 here, I know cos thats what I have. Dont pay that now, hairdresser lived in the house opposite so now she comes over to do it and it only costs £25.I also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like youwould like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing

I gave up going to the hairdresser because of the cost.... I may not look quite so stylish but my bank balance looks wonderful......get it cut at home now £10 and colour it myself £4.40 it used to cost me over £75 :T#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

GASP....How Much???? I hope it's worth it too. You really don't like cleaning mirrors do ya...!0 -
Awwww, thanks Chickadee
However YOU did not hear me swearing because YOU didn't come on any of the moderate-to-scary rides with usThey won't hear me swearing this time because there won't be any rollercoasters waiting to surprise me
It is true that the more people there are at a meet, the less scary it is! It's especially scary when it involves going round someone's house - I was terrified when I met PP (even though I knew I was going to like her, and in fact I liked her even more than I thought I would) cos I actually had to walk up to her front door and ring the bell... but I wasn't nervous at all about meeting everybody in Blackpool!
Let's fix the venue shall we - Penderel's Oak (a very comfy JD Wetherspoons), High Holborn, 7pm on Sunday 28th May? Then if others do fancy coming, they can just turn up. I'm trying to think who else might be interested... what about RacyRed? Or Ms_London?
I'll see if I can make doubly sure that the place isn't going to be closed for a function or anything.Operation Get in Shape

Afternoon all,
I haven't posted on this thread for a few days as I've been in the office on my own while my manager does his exams. I have now got the payroll & all other vital things done, so thought I'd have a catch up & a cuppa!
The hair do does sound expensive! I have very deep auburn hair so am not likely to need to dye it until I start going grey! I do normally get it cut every 6weeks though & have always paid around £30. However, when I went last week it was pouring with rain & I wasn't off anywhere exciting in the evening so I asked my hairdresser to just rough dry it. It cost £13 less! I had never really thought about it before but from now on I'll be paying less. I'm not called Dopey for nothing!
Over the last couple of weeks I have started to find the step aerobics class I do easier, so I thought I'd challenge myself last night & add another riser under my step. I have achey leg muscles today, ouch!
Sounds like the London meet is growing! I'm not sure there are many people here from my area. I do however go over to London every couple of months to visit my little sis & nanny, one in Ealing, one in Dulwich.
Lunch: Leftover chilli & rice
Dinner: Jacket spuds & salad

BargainRzl-Thanks so much hun. Thats a lovely comment you have made about me...hugs!! I thought you were great too and much better in person:D
Also wanted to say guys that this woman is very caring. She text me on Friday to ask if I wanted anything from the Farmers Market.....shes so sweet:A
Funny day for me today. I feel very light headed and sicky and have done nothing but lay on sofa, falling in and out of sleep. Maybe its the jabs I had Mondaynot sure. We have postponed tonight and are going in 4 weeks to the same place and hopefully I should be better and friend & OH a little less busy:rolleyes:
OH completed test and went up the driving range for an hour with his friend. He also made me 2 fat free banana loaves in the Oven and are delish!! Very cheap and easy to make too. OH & DD are going to the library after school to take books back and get a couple more.
Lady from Freecycle came to get DD's desk yesterday and the new one is coming tomorrow afternoon, so her room looks empty.
Paid various bill and my £50 cheque from Barclays is on way to me for price match for the car insurance and we have decided we are going to buy 2 new doors for upstairs with it. Will have to add a little more to it, but the doors are awful and the money will get dwindled otherwise.
Anyways, best go. Hugs to all.
