    Morning All :j

Slept well last night, must have been the thought of a few days off work.
We went to see the DaVinci Code last night, I wasn't too impressed, they seemed to have cut out half of the book and I wasn't convinced about Tom Hanks, anyway OH seemed to like it ( but then he's never read the book).

Busy day today, need to pick the folks up from the airport have a mystery shop job, check on my best friend to see if baby no2 is on its way and tidy up.
Off out for a posh meal tonight to celebrate me & OH being together for 1 year:cheesy:

Snowy - good look for the exam, just remember to breathe , answer every question even if its only a little and READ everything clearfully.

PP - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you today girl.

Well better get on or else I will end up spending all week on MSE.

    Have fun

    xx

    Morning all

Wet and blustery here in Kent too.....DH dropped DD's to school on his way to work to save me and them getting wet.:j

I've just finished washing up and sorting the washing. Dusting, hoovering, bed changing, ironing, cleaning of the bathroom, watering indoor plants, all still to do! But I might just go soak in the bath for a bit instead.....

    B - Toast
    L - Beef/salad wraps
D - Quiche I think, with new pots and salad.

Must use up some of the bits in the fridge, got the makings of a chiken soup, chicken pie, lots of "bits" of veg, some fruit on the turn and some onion gravey........

    Best I get busy.

Hugs to all - good luck with all those with hospital and exams.

    Have a wonderous day all.

Please excuse continuous mass of text - the forum doesn't seem to be my friend this morning!Morning :hello: Got a good night's sleep but with some very strange dreams! Woke at 7:30, which is an hour after my alarm went off, still feeling like I needed another few hours even after a solid 7 or so. Knackered this morning. Suspect it's mainly down to dehydration, because I realised that other than a pint of water before bed, all I drunk yesterday was three cups of tea and a glass of wine! :o So am drinking plenty of water today.Yucky windy rainy day again. But I don't particularly care today, as I don't have to go out in it again until about 6pm!Out this evening and tomorrow, so have made sure there are enough HM "ready meals" in the fridge to take me through to Wednesday lunchtime. Will have to have a think about what to cook a batch of on Wednesday evening - perhaps a risotto or a fish pie, but other than "storecupboard basics" I don't have many raw ingredients in the house ATM so will have to plan it in advance.Breakfast: bacon sarnieLunch: reheated cheese & mushroom ravioli with pestoDinner: reheated spag bolHope everybody's OK, and hope it goes OK at the hospital PP.Rzl xx

    Hello everybody,

I have finally got some great news to tell you. Our house went through. :jMoney is in the bank :D I just checked online. What a sigh of relief. DGS is still with us. We are all knackered. He is full on and the only time we get peace and quiet is when he's asleep. Made pasta bake for tea tonight followed with Lemon Delicious & custard.

Not a lot of plans tomorrow, prob babysitting again. Ex DIL has been away most of the day today :j:D. Better go as DGS is getting a bit cranky with DD. Hope you all have a nice day and ((((hugs)))) to all those that need them.

    Good luck Snowy Owl
    Fingers crossed PP

I made the Broccoli & Apple soup in the recipe index on the w'end. It was really nice.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Morning everyone.

PP - hugs , I hope you get on ok today
snowyowl - good luck with the exam
Foreverskint - I feel really cross at myself when I throw food in the bin too.
Pooky - like the sound of your meals today.

I am off work this week. This morning I am clearing up from dds os 14th birthday party yesterday. It was a big success with everybody from teenagers, a four year old to a fifty year old enjoying it. It showed me the huge appeal of os to all kinds of people. Its is the mostly truely os party I have had and the best party I have given. Now I have to clean up the mess....

I don't have too much food left as sent that home with another single mum who is managing on less than me. Kept some homemade pizza and salad for lunch. Lots of birthday cake and fattening chocolate torte left too... Oh dear

After clean up, I need to do some application forms and then am baby sitting for a friend tonight.
