So nice to wake up to encouraging posts
I really hope the ebay thing works out, I know it's a risk but it might also be lucrative so will give it my best shot!
The stress continues, up at 6am to sort everything out then MIL calls, she is stuck in middle of road in the ice/snow. Spent ages trying to move the car but could only move it to a safe place. She was really upset so had to calm her down. On train to work now so going to be late but now worrying about them all walking to school as paths and roads are really really icy! Feel bad that she has to do it. Then OH calls from his hotel

Aww, hope the day has improved.
Buying and selling is a gamble, but anything like that is....
When I get paid I have a plan to make and sell something, so that will mean an initial outlay, that I may not get back. But if I do, the profit margin is potentially high....
As long as we don't put all our eggs in one basket and don't have delusions of "Get Rich Quick", then the best we can aim for is to make the money back, but nothing ventured.....0 -
My thoughts exactly! Not expecting a get rich quick scheme, even if I make the money back it's a bonus but I will see what happens!
My day did improve but the roads here are just so icy and a bit more snow - am so bored of all this now.
Good news is that Barclaycard increased my limit, I have a LOB rate with them so I can move over some debt from an interest paying card and therefore saving money :j1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

Morning
Got up extra early this morning and did all the housework - even cleaned the windows , kids now at school and I am sat at my desk at home ready to work - absolute miracle!
Forgot to announce yesterday that whilst I didn't have a NSD yesterday I did only spend £1 :j:j
Was planning to go for a run this lunchtime but the pavements are hazardous and I'm wondering how sensible an idea it is?
Going to do some work and then ring Barclaycard to shift some balances around. Had a look at online banking, we are doing brilliant with our budget this week having spent about £23 out of £70 and that is £20 that OH took out of the bank so am really pleased
