:hello: Kim, nice to know you are still here.
I have actually got a place in the marathon :j which is what all this madness is all about but thank you for the thought
Have had a pretty good day. Only spent £1.17 today and that was on emergency food to prevent fainting due to hunger and also tissues to prevent looks of dismay from fellow train passengers about me sniffling. So I can therefore justify the cost.
Work seems marginally better, had a bit of a pep talk with boss - still no discussion re payrise but I'm just going to bide my time. Had a look for a job but nothing out there and I have signed up for a course to progress my career which work have paid for, so all options still open.

I have seen the news and we are forecast more snow as well, but they did say that last night and we just got a covering of sleet. Hoping nothing materialises as we can see the roads again now!
Kids are going to the circus tomorrow as well with Grandparents and if it snows that will be a no goer - fingers crossed!
I now wait with baited breath as to whether the school opens or not...1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

I think you are doing the right thing re work - keeping your options open has to be the best thing in these circumstances.....besides, you just never know what comes along when you least expect it!

Back in work after dropping kids off at school and legging it for the train - sooo stressful! Seen a potential money making opportunity to do on ebay so considering whether to take a small risk or not.

What I was thinking of buying turned into buying tonight  I have bought a job lot of stuff from ebay as part of the £100 to £10,000 incentive. Agreed with OH that it was worth a try to try and see if I can sell it individually and make a profit.
Feeling quite positive today, had a good day at work, yet another NSD!!! :j:j Hoping to have another NSD tomorrow and that will mean I would have only spent £1.17 since Sunday morning :j
Pretty tired as OH is away and I am trying to run the house, walk the dogs, keep the kids occupied and do my job at the same time - sooo tired. Having an early night tonight as need to get up to put something in the slow cooker for tea before I leave for work tomorrow morning, make packed lunches for us all and the list goes on and on.....also need to walk dogs, all before 8am :eek::eek: I am tired just thinking about it. And there's, OH swanning it around in a hotel :mad::mad:1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

Good luck with your venture! Speculate to accumulate and all that
Sorry to hear of your busy time, don't think about OH away in a hotel though. Think about how he can make it up to you at the weekend. I'd compile a list of jobs for him to be getting on with while you have your feet up!0 -
Have a nice day IMD and if you put tea in the slow cooker last night, at least you can come home to a nice hot meal, already cooked for you!
Good luck with the Ebay - when do you plan to list? - I usually try to do my listing on a Thursday for 10 days that was it gets seen over 2 weekends and ends on a weekend which seems to be the time when most people are looking.
Well Done on the NSD's tooEmergency Savings Fund - £11002015 Mortgage overpayments = £0 -
Good luck with the ebay listing - I hope it is a great success!
As for being superwoman.....I can sooo relate to that tiredness. I'm getting round some of that this week by having "pizza week"......well, they were on offer in Tescos, and they only take 20 mins to cook, no preparation, cut up and bung on a plate with some salad or baked beans.....et voila. We have variety too - 4 cheese, pepperoni, cheese and pepperoni, square ones, round ones, stuffed crust ones, big ones, small ones.......:DSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground.
