Ooh, I think I might make an effort to lose weight if I can then match it lb for lb in chocolate at the end of each week :D

Updated signature  Had to be done, may as well put it out there.

Decided to use Council Tax money in Feb and March towards savings pot for xmas, insurance etc. Pet insurance up at the end of the month so I can pay it in full and still put money in my pots.

    There.....said it.......updated signature.........time to move on :D

I've tried "hiding" debt in my signature in the past.....kidding myself that if it is not there I will be able to catch up next month etc.......but I now know that honesty is the only way to go, and as a result that is a real deterrant to spending what I don't have, because I know I will have to up my signature!

So, well done for facing it.....now hammer the blighter back down :D

Hi IMD: had a random phone call today from an agency I registered with last year while unemployed seeing if I was looking for a job and offering to put me forward for a job in line with my skills. Get that - I don't even need to job hunt, the jobs are coming looking for me! ;) (Not quite true, but it's a start!)

  • Hey IMD (and the rest of you!) Happy New Year - finally getting a chance to catch up on the threads.
Good luck with the job hunting. I'm doing that at the moment, its so hard to find time between everything else though!
I'm also trying to run more as I'm registered for the great west run in May with some colleagues. I've never done more than 10k before so I'm quite daunted by the half marathon! But I have my training schedule which officially, as I have 16 weeks left, starts this week.
Have a great weekend, hope the DIY is looking good!

  • Hi In My Dreams - you're awesome - 4lbs weight loss in one week and running 13 miles through snow covered fields - are you sure you are human?
Don't worry too much about the updated sig, christmas is expensive for all of us and now you have a new year to start tackling it head on again.
    Have a good day!

Hey In My Dreams :T:T:Tfantastic weight loss - and very impressive running!!

I did a 5k last July - trained for it from basically walking to being able to run it - very slowly! Am attempting to get back to being able to run 5k again, and then vaguely flirting with the idea of longer - but tbh its not the running in itself that appeals to me - I like the me-time in a gymn with my ipod on!
Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side
