I am keeping mouth shut for now and just trying to reign him in on the more ambitious plan he has for the project. He wants to box something in that could just be painted so maybe if I can suggest cutbacks instead of stopping everything. I do want him to improve the house, just not break the bank.
My husband in B&Q is like me in Next

Mmmmm risotto and chocolate cake - my ideal meal!!!
Thanks for the soup tips, I'll make some later in the week (thought I'd stumbled onto and OS thread for a minute!)
No sadly no run. We have loads more snow now, so that wiped today out too. I will get back into it though....
When does the GNR open for applications? Must be soon. I could do with that to kick start me.
Enjoy your chill out and hope work's not too bad this week0 -
I entered the GNR ballot today via an email......Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

I think I have a place in GNR - I got a charity place and raised the money but then couldn't do it as I was injured and so deferred to 2009 - then had to defer in 2009 so hopefully I have a place this year
Will enter the Manchester 10k as I have always done it and want to beat last years time.
Macgirl - get some soup made. I've brought in carrot and coriander in but put too much coriander in so it is quite curry-like! Fresh fruit salad and a snack bar. Good me
SH - I think you are right, he is being unstoppable and I should appreciate it and maybe for things like this we need to de-stress...
Hypno - hope your Amazon listing went from strength to strength!
Back in work, day not started brilliantly as train late, -6 and had to stand in it for 45 mins :grouphug: (that's me feeling cold and needing warming up and not having a 3some at some dodgy train station!) Forgotten my gloves and I was nearly in tears due to numb feet and gloves - have a 25 min walk to work from the other train station so had to buy some socks and gloves at the cost of £11 as it was all I could find  The socks are actually bed socks I was that cold and reduced from £12.50 to £4 and the gloves are proper thermal ones so will last - but still not a good start!!
Couldn't sleep last night because I was worrying about work and now I'm sat here and deciding why I stress - but people are funny aren't they? Boss not in yet and then atmosphere will change I guess.....

Brrrrr! I remember the icy numbness and biting wind when I used to get the train to the city. Ouch.
This morning I couldn't get the car doors open as they were frozen. Managed to get in and get to work (out of town now - hence the necessity for a car). It was then -8  Got there and car doors froze again - this time I was in the car. So nearly broke my shoulder trying to get out
Hope work was ok. I got an email from Bupa this morning telling me about the ballot, so I have entered too0
