Hypno - I think your post was great
Inapickle - I find more expensive makeup is worth it - mainly as I am less likely to be allergic to it but also because it seems to last forever - in my house nayway!
IMD - like you I need to be job hunting.... Good luck with the applications!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi Annie
I think your best bet would be to head over to the DFW Running Thread. There are lots of friendly people on there who will give you advice and maybe do you a plan.
Other than that you could try the Bupa site. They have race plans for complete beginners.
This is a sub site that is very useful too. Good luck!(Sorry IMD

Thank you all, you all understand me
Hypno - you are right and whilst I love my job I don't love the people I work with. So I need to find a better place to work. I always know when you worry about going into work like you did School it is time to move on!
Macgirl - indeed here to us and 2010 and running to the target!
IAP - agree re the makeup, I do buy expensive makeup and you are completely right about the cost of shoes, suppose it was just bad timing, and then to buy two pairs kind of freaked me out!!
Annie - hope you start the running, it really is mentally good for you and inexpensive once you have the right trainers sorted. Try the walk/run start and before you know it you will be running for 10 mins. I have a book somewhere and I'll look it out for you.
SH - good luck with the job hunting, it's just getting round to it!
Had very inexpensive but productive day, finally got rid of OH who has been out with his friends on their annual do and I've had a few friends round and drank wine we already had in - had a lovely time and made me smile about how lucky I am to have such good friends. Lovely start to the New Year. We had a party at our house and I am now not drinking until the Marathon!!!
Then set out on a walk with some friends, the kids and the dogs. Didn't intend to go far but ended out for over 4 hours - lovely time, stopped off for a quick drink but it really blew the cobwebs away, kids are knackered and were asking to go to bed when we got back!
Starting the spending diary with new force - going to spend tomorrow getting sorted for school and work so Sunday can be a bit more relaxing. quite looking forward to some reality and getting back to the debt busting!1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j
