Thank you - hoping that the letters will work, nothing ventured nothing gained and all that.

Have managed to sit down after getting home, collecting kids, become a personal dresser and hairdresser before despatching them at the school disco, came home for a bit to start to make dinner and then back to pick them up whilst OH is swanning around - oh how I wish to be a man at time

Spent about £1.8- today on stuff for kids lunch boxes and emergency peanut M&Ms :D

Lucky you that you get to "drop" them at the school disco. I had to endure rank wine last week - and it was warm :o

    Hello everyone and newbies :)

Well good news is that today I have had a phone call from car insurance company confirming that they are refunding 100% of the premium :j so a letter was well worth it. I complained about the fact that I couldn't transfer the policy and the man agreed it was disgusting. So I actually get a free months car insurance :)

Not heard from BUPA or bank yet but this is a bonus re the car!

Spent the weekend cleaning the house. All day Saturday on downstairs so it was spotless. Then the upstairs  spent ages on DS's bedroom and bag fulls of rubbish and stuff to ebay. I've seen some of his toy sets on ebay for up to £50 so I will have to keep fingers crossed for that.

DH did the shopping this week and came in at a brilliant £54 and we haven't bought anything else so all is good. We are also gradually chipping away at our things to do list which is nice and rewarding.

Put a few things on freecycle as I have asked for a few things so it's only fair and it is stuff which is too big for me to post out on ebay.

Have also been Mrs Hormonal this weekend!! Think the marathon caught up with me and had really tired legs this weekend, ended up having a solo bike ride and really clearing the cobwebs and blowing away all my worries, albeit for a short while.

I don't know about everyone else but if I am not busy all the time, the debt really plays on my mind and so I find it really hard to relax - need to address this as it is a mental thing that if I am doing stuff I am paying off the debt, despite the fact that I work all week??

I am now just waiting to see if OH gets his bonus as we really really need it - yet more fingers crossed!
