Well Taxi, I was right and they charged me £25  Going to write to them but doubt I'll get very far, paid money in first thing yesterday morning and all for 2p - but hey ho!

Up bright and early this morning but the kids played up a little, although managed to get my packed lunch made just in time!

Have so many loose ends to tie up at work before I start the next big project but no enthusiasm to do it. Slightly achy legs from last night but quite pleased that I managed to get a bit of speed back in my legs after the marathon.

Had momentary stress re money last night and then fell to sleep as exhausted, comes and goes. Watched the lottery with OH and talked about what we would do if we won it - but we didn't - quelle surprise!

    Have a good day everyone!

If they don't refund it, that's terrible! Isn't there something somewhere about how charges have to be proportionate? £25 for 2p most certainly isn't!st

Anyway, think you are doing well still running after the marathon. My body would be still in shock! ;)

I am certainly going to try as it is not proportionate as well, might look on here for a template?

I think my body is still in shock but I am a stubborn mare :D

    Been super productive:-

    1) Written letter to A&L for £25 charge to be repaid on grounds of disproportionate and they are greedy barstewards (although obviously I didn't put that bit down).

    2) Letter to BUPA re complaint.

    3) Letter to Insurance Company asking for most of money back otherwise I will report them to the Ombudsman.

    Sorted :)
