I know just what you mean! I'm just the same. The great thing about it is it has allowed me to be less stressed with my friends and they are seeing more of the old me these days! Though they do think I am obsessed with MSE:rotfl:

Hi IMD pleased you have had some positives in the last few days. Sorry about the lows. I know the "adding to debt" feeling. We had to add £4K to our debts last year when we bought the car (our other 2 died) but it had to be done. Without that instead of a debt of £11940 we would be at £7940. A third less!
One of the things I tell myself though - is that even though things feel tight now and I feel like I have no money - I actually have more money than when I was earning more but spending like there was no tomorrow. Congratulate yourselves on better matching your income to expenditure. Even sir Martin classes car debt as good debt rather than bad debt as it is linked to a tangible asset that helps you work...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
