Hi IMD, don't know if this will hinder or help:
One of our springers was sick about 3 weeks ago. A trip to the vets resulted in a stomach upset and a round of drugs = £119. 3 days later he still hadn't stopped being sick so we went back to the vets. 1 x-ray, 3 overnights and a whole round of drugs = £753. What had he done? Swallowed a stone & it had lodged in his intestine. Our springers are only 18 mths old. Without our pet insurance we would be truly stuffed, we only have a £50 excess to pay.........I'd opt for the insurance any day of the week (IMHO)
xx
Totally agree . I have a springer pup who is almost 5 months and he eats EVERYTHING.

We have just laughed a lot, having washed and conditioned the doll's hairs (all 5 of them) me and OH have just sat brushing out all the knots and stickers (??) like it was a normal Monday night thing to do - OH quietly muttered "rock and roll" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Insurance - I just cannot bring myself to cancel it! If I had to have any of them put down for something like the stone then it would be horrendous. Think I will get a pot of £1k together and then cancel it. Now to break the news to OH - will wait until he's finished brushing the hair.....

You are a tonic , girl:T:T

Hey IMD. I go away for a few days and your thread grows and grows! Brilliant breakthroughs all round for you, clever girl. Loving the Barbie makeovers....I have 38 Action Men in my loft that feel sure should be ebaying....but the idea of dressing them, posing them, taking photos.....is beyond me! So am taking off my hat to you and your eBay marathon. Glad you love your OH, he would really, really try my patience.....good for you in sticking with him (and it....)

Morning all - just!
Lo and behold my next ebay package arrived today so back to it
Had hair cut within budget and tottled off to the chemist to get some hair lightening cream for the legs before physio (I do have some standards!) and went to pay and yes - I forgot I didn't have my card and only £3BUT then realised it was now part of Boots and paid for it with my advantage card :j:j Phew embarrassment of having no money and then dark hairy legs abated for the short term.
Off to do my legs now, let's hope no one visits me in the interim as I will look a sight!1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

No, I'm going to wait for sales on ebay to cover the amount and then speak to OH about it - so kind of being sensible but I do intend to get them...1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j
