Incapacity Benefit Wrongly Stopped - Failed Medical

Dont tell them if you do take a dictaphone, just keep it hidden and recording.
If you tell them they wont proceed with the medical, and your benefits will be stopped.
Just record without them knowing.Surely that is illegal
Why? they would secretly record you if they thought you were swinging the lead? :cool:No I meant recording people without warning them, as well you know :rolleyes:I must, I must, get my post average up to 1 a day!!

Why do all these types of threads turn into conspiracy theories, does nothing to help the ops.0

What conspiracy theory? That ATOS and the DWP are always above board, and people are not getting shafted?[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.
[/greenhighlight][redtitle]
The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0 -

It is not conspiracy - it is purely mindset - they all know DWP wants to reach target of 1 million off benefits.
The supporters of DWP and ATOS pretend that those who have been on receiving end of their corrupt decisions are just conspiracy nutters

I cant speak about ATOS but I really cant see what a DM gains from denying someone benefit if they are entitled to it. A DM isnt at a very high grade and they really arent paid for each person that is turned down. What conspiracy theory? That ATOS and the DWP are always above board, and people are not getting shafted?
If there was an incentive for the worker then obviously it could be abused but, again in my experience, the DM will make the decision they think is right - even if they are eventually proved wrong.0 -

Is the CAB funded the same way in GB as it is in northern Ireland?
If so then there is a quite significant amount of government money that goes into keeping them going. If the government were so hell bent on denying people money then why would they pour money into people that try and help benefit claimants?0 -

The CAB is funded partly by the government, LAs and other organisations. Each CAB is independant and aswell as recieving money from head office they have to try and raise their own funds and try and get local businesses to help out. Not many people realise that the CAB is a charity. Although they recieve funding from the government they remain inpartial. I think some of the debt workers are partly funded by a bank.Is the CAB funded the same way in GB as it is in northern Ireland?
