Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

You have been on the forum long enough now to know that ATOS are - shall we say 'untrustworthy' - are all these people telling lies about ATOS 'doctors' putting 'untruths' down - even when they come back and report that they had been found to have been telling the truth with well enough points.

Is it possible it could be a mistake/error?

Thats a huge part of the issue - the report is in effect (despite dwp claims it is just a glorified word processor) written by the LIMA software.

If the software is flawed, it can introduce errors, *or* make them easy to do, *or* make them hard to spot. Or any combination of the above. It may also be incorrectly assigning the wrong weight to certain evidence etc, all sorts of things could be going wrong.

That is just one of the reasons why its important they release the software so people can investigate and ensure natural justice prevails and all is above board.

But, as they sell it and make money from it - they refuse any examination.
[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that
