mmmm........ still contains the word 'moron' so why would that be less offensive?
forgot i work in the public sector i must be stupid, and of course as all taxpayers pay my wages they can call me what they like0 -
believe me I have ideas of how the dept could work differently to save money, improve efficiency and reduce waiting times for claimants, but what can i do, anyone under team leader grade is worth listening to in the eyes of management
How do you become a team-leader?
By just keeping quiet, toeing the line, hitting a certain age, or getting pally with senior council staff?0 -
because i thought you were offended by the concept of being labelled lazy, rather than a moron.0

Come on wxmlad, can you not see the irony? A first post about how unlucky he is and how its not fair, going on to explain how much he loves the job and aint going to do anything about it.
What folk are saying is that the attitude of; it's not fair I am unlucky, it's not my fault, I deserve more, whilst at the same time saying I joined the council for the nice cosy, feel safe environment and conditions and I don't want to risk losing it, is very much stereotypical council worker attitude, as understood by many in the private sector!
In other words I want the world, but someone has to bring it to me and present me with it, cause I aint going out my way collect it.
It's like putting your money in the bank and expecting Stock Market returns.0 -
