Congratulations busyfingers! As long as that blasted volcanic ash cloud is away.....should be no problems. Has anyone else already started worrying about flight problems, even though it's 4 months away!! I've already considered researching a plan B for honeymoon travel - bit early maybe
Yep I've been worrying about it! Our honeymoon is Dubai and the Maldives, so no back up plans possible really!not much changed here either.

Lol we're doing this too - but we're not moving in to our house until the day after the wedding. We exchanged contracts yesterday, complete on the 21st. I'm so glad the nightmare of the last 3 months is over! That said from the 21st my H2B and my dad have a fairly large scale decoration project going on, putting in a velux, creating a new room, putting in a bathroom, tiling it and the kitchen, laying wooden flooring in 3 rooms, replastering another 2, wallpapering three rooms, painting nine rooms, fitting carpet up the stairs and in 2 of the bedrooms, I'm not sure I'm going to see either of them again before the wedding! And I've just realised exactly how many rooms we're going to have and no furniture to put in them. Eeek.
Been confirmed I need knee surgery, which is likely to be the first week of June. I really need to organise flowers before this, as I'm not going to be overly mobile afterwards.
I couldn't find a veil I liked, so I've made the decision to hand embroider a full chapel length veil! I don't like the really plain, modern ones as its a very delicate, vintage style dress, I ordered the patterns 12 days ago and they still haven't arrived - I'm really fiddgetty waiting for the postman everyday!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Just close the doors!Been confirmed I need knee surgery, which is likely to be the first week of June. I really need to organise flowers before this, as I'm not going to be overly mobile afterwards.
But think of all the things you could do, like making favours or table decs?I couldn't find a veil I liked, so I've made the decision to hand embroider a full chapel length veil! That would be a fab project for while you are on one leg0 -

We don't have much decorating to do thankfully but we don't have any furniture to put in the house at all. I predict the next few weekends will be trekking around DIY and furniture stores.“A house is made of walls and beams;a home is built with love and dreams.”2012 Challenge to buy most gifts and non essentials from money made online.:money:0 -

Patterns just arrived - yey! I've already made all the centerpieces, sewn myself 3 dresses for my honeymoon wardrobe, listed over 100 things on ebay to raise some pennies etc. Not having favours - donating £200 each to Cancer Research and Altzheimers UK instead. I've been on one leg since Christmas, and I'm bored! We don't have much decorating to do thankfully but we don't have any furniture to put in the house at all. We have a side table.... erm a few lamps..... mum has said we can borrow a bed.... oh we do have a sofa and a towel rail! We made the decision to do all the decoration and replace the bathroom first as its a lot easier when we dont live there, and then fill it with furniture gradually. We intend to set aside £500 or so and just hit the ebay 'local pick up only' stuff - there are some insane bargains to be had! An as new solid oak House of Fraser table and 6 chairs went for £63 last week! We're hoping to get some wedding money to go towards a new bed though, I don't want a second hand matress!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

We have dining table and chairs, one of those pong chairs from ikea, a black leather poofy, wicker basket for bathroom and that is it. Sure we will be fine. We are planning on just getting the basics then worrying about the rest after the wedding.“A house is made of walls and beams;a home is built with love and dreams.”2012 Challenge to buy most gifts and non essentials from money made online.:money:0 -

Well, quick update - my petticoat has arrived, can't wait until I go for my first fitting in a couple of weeks.
Have now booked florist & paid deposit - need to make appointment to go throguh everything with her....also need to cancel other one that was 50% more expensive
Brought tiara home - and I still love it
Make-up trial went ok, need to find a stay-put lippie that suits though, so will try at the Trafford Centre next time I go, John lewis or Selfridges should have something.
Not so sure about alternate shoes now.....they're very nice, but not quite what I wanted0
