Dinah - how generous and lovely!

Well, my invites have gone: they hit the empty postbox with a huge thud last night and the hand-out ones have been passed on to the relevant people. I was pleased that some commented on the professionalism of them, given that they were a homemade effort!!

Now awaiting the RSVPs! (have asked for them online but popped a card in anyway).

Now have new alternative shoes...just need to stretch the satin a little so they are more comfy....will wear them around the house when OH is away

Have bought favours & bags, also got 1st pressie for OH's lucky bag for the morning of the wedding

Eeeek, don't tell me things like that! Still got lots to organise!

We're cheating on the flowers and are having silk ones (we're not very flowery people, either of us), and they arrived on Friday - they're perfect, and my sister (usually v snobbish about such things) took a look and said "omg, you can't tell they're not real!". That bodes well for the photos :-)

I still need to find shoes and decide on a hair style; mine is a layered affair and is just above my shoulders. Thankfully I have organised a hair and makeup lady but still need to book her in for a trial.

Been rather disappointed in the lack of RSVPs though; we've not had many back at all :-(

We're having chocolate for our favours so I'm going to wait and order them late July/ early Aug to make sure they don't go funny from being stored for too long before the day.

Well it's all on now - we've had all our daytime RSVP's back, paid the Registrar's fees and paid half the o/s balance for the reception!

Also sorted out all the little things with the venue, met with the photographer, I met with my florist, had our menu tasting, tried on our rings and had a dance lesson

I've got my first dress fitting on Saturday, need to get my underwear on Thursday & stretch my shoes a little so they're more comfy

Then need to order the rest of our favour & put them into the bags & sort out printing for our table "names"

How's everyone else getting on? 12 weeks on Friday for me :j

Floss you scare me! We only got our invites on Friday, I'm addressing them today. Don't have a florist (probably not having one though) or confirmed a band yet, or have a definate cake plan yet. Haven't spoken to the photographers since we booked them, and I don't like my ring so it needs to go back and hopefully be resmelted and made thicker. Having knee surgery in two weeks so no dancing for a while yet. Dress hasn't arrived, nor have the bridesmaids dresses. Can't get hold of one of the groomsmen. I have no shoes as I don't know how long my dress will be, or if I can stand in heels by then. My veil is less than half made. We haven't even considered who to use as a DJ. I have no idea what vaccinations if any we need for the honeymoon. The house we are going to be moving to currently doesn't have a single habbitable room and we're still trying to finalise on a builder. I feel like we should be worrying but to be honest I have faith it will all fall into place, and if it doesn't it doesn't really matter, and I'm just going to keep plodding on with sewing my veil!

Im getting married 19th Sept - 101 days to go eeeeeek! Still to sort out my shoes, accessories, bridesmaids, hair, makeup, haven't designed my cake yet but my slot is booked! :-s

Well.. I'm a bit grumpy. Sent the invites out 3.5weeks ago and have had a handful of RSVP's. A handful, and that's it! Most of those are for the evening too so I've still no idea on who will be coming during the day. Not many, it seems! (oh well that's less £s for me to spend)

One problem though is I'm worried that our local post is going missing. My OH had a birthday card sent to her by a friend of ours on Thursday last week across Milton Keynes, and it still hasn't arrived. If that hasn't arrived, what else hasn't arrived, and how many of my RSVPs are missing as a result?!

Dinah don't worry - I have no dress (due July), no shoes, no underwear, still have to organise a hair and makeup trial and speak to my DJ!!

We have 85 days to go (have the best iphone app that is counting the days down for us)
Had my first fitting last week which went really well, just need it taken in on the top. Had two hair trials now and have my style all sorted. Just waiting on our planner come back with decisions on flowers etc!
Have 3 weeks till my hen do, and i cant wait!
