  • I had to issue legal proceedings to receive some/all of my cashback
Well, I thought I'd update you. I am only claiming for the first three cashbacks that I sent in good time. They are contesting this, even though I have proof of postage. I have gone through small claims at the cost of £25 and now it will cost me a further £25 because they want to go to court & would not go to mediation. I have decided I will take this all the way out of principal. Mobile Rainbow are treating cutomers terribly & why should they get away with it?! Court hearing is in August. I can't see how i can loose...has anyone lost? What if you win & they still don't pay?

    frustrated jo,

As long as you have documented evidence of everything you will win. Most cases against them don't seem to get as far as an actual hearing. In my case it did though and I had to go down to my local court. Msols didn't turn up, and haven't turned up to any of the hearings that I've heard about so far. It's easy to do - just visit

    https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk

But be aware that very few of us who have had a CCJ awarded against Msols have gone on to actually recover the monies due to the company having a Virtual Office address at which Bailiffs can't recover any debts. There are now hundreds of us in this situation who are looking for the next move against Msols.

In the meantime, I still think it's worth taking it to court, because it's at least better than doing nothing.

Thanks for that....I have gone through moneyclaim...very dissapointing to hear that it still doesn't guarantee you the money you're owed...I will give it more thought, as the court hearing might have to be adjourned due to other commitments & this will mean throwing more money at making this stand...

Through no fault of my own I've lost some/all of my cashback
Mobilerainbow is a thief company. They steal money from our pocket. I believed that they are going to run away, do not want to pay any cash back to their customers. They are doing something to hide their greedy, crafty and contemptibility.

I have just had my Nothice of Acknowledgement of Service. They have come back to state that they will defend all of the claim I have against them. It looks like they have started to really not care that they have defaulted on a written and binding contract.
I shall be going through the process to see what I can gain. I will also be using my good lady's Legal knowledge. She has said that thet fact they are willing to go for a full defence that I may get nothing. But a contract is a contract and it is legally binding.
We must surely get this company put out of business. They are liars, thieves and are clearly ripping people off and laughing in the face of the LAW. That is what winds me up more, the LAW that is there to protect us is doing absolutely zero to stand up for the wronged.
Don't let the !!!!!! Turpin barstewards win!!

If they do submit a defence, then bear in mind that if, (once you've seen the defence), you want to carry on, then the next step will be a hearing which you will have to pay for.

Eventually, all costs of the hearing will be borne by the loser, but others have reported that despite winning their case, and getting a CCJ, the defendant still ignores it!

Leaving you with the next decision on whether you want to pay out even more money to enforce the judgement.

Did you manage to find anyone when you went to visit the offices. I would be interesteed in helping you.

Has anyone got another address for msols or any of there directors where we can send the baliffs.

Also if anyone is thinking of getting a contract with Mobile Rainbow dont, you will never get your cashback.

I have written to the FSA about msols, explaining that I have a CCJ against then and asking them why they have are still approving this company. Yet to receive a reply.

Has anyone written to the networks. I am thinking about writing to all the networks about this company.

If you can think of anything else we can do let me know I am interested.

I want this company closed down.

I dont think any of us will get our money back (i am going to court in august)
I urge all moneysavers affected to write to their mp. You can do it on line at

    www.writetothem.com

I did and just got this reply today from my mp James Duddridge....
I am rather disturbed to hear about the difficulties you say you are encountering with regard to mobile rainbow. I am writing to confirm that I have written to the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform asking for their advice on the matter

Not a solution i know, but more pressure on this excuse for a business

In my letter i explained about all the ccjs and bailiffs unable to seize anything from a service address.
If all those affected do the same perhaps this company will be forced to throw in the towel. Please give it a go, it takes very little of your time. Good luck everybody

I've contacted Rupiz Media....this is a separate company under the ownership of a Rupinder Khurana...they will not give you any help. I managed to get through to their legal team but after asking them numerous times, they actually put the phone down on you...it seems the WHOLE organisation has no understanding of Customer Service....No-one has any sort of contact details regarding mobile rainbow...is it worth us bombarding rupiz media together to pressurise them into putting us in touch with the thieves that ran away with our money?
