Have you received a form from them asking whether you'd already received compo and whether case went to FOS/upheld etc? We received a form over Christmas and I chased last week to find out whether they'd received it. I was still waiting to hear back but today got a call from Deloittes to check the information and to say my case is now being processed! Was too shocked to ask any questions ie. how long is that going to take. Anyone else heard anything?

Hi Buns mum, last I heard they were still on hold that was about two weeks ago, was going to try and phone them this week. Lets hope things are starting to move. :T
  • I have still yet to hear, Ive previously been given the same information as everyone else but I'm currently having trouble trying to contact my 'deloitte' contact despite leaving several messages.

You're lucky to even have a Deloitte contact! I left 2 messages last week via 2 different staff for Steve Butler who sent us the form (apparently he 'doesn't take phone calls') and never heard back. That's partly why it was such a shock yesterday to get a call to say the claim was now being processed. Did anyone else get a form over Christmas?

I got one over Christmas and sent it off the other week.

Got a reply back just before the weekend asking for my ex to fill in the form as second claimant and sign as well. Have had to write back to explain (again, already detailed all of this in the form) that the Ex signed all the loans over to me in the divorce and so has no liability or claim on the loan. Just really hoping they accept this as not only will the Ex not have anything to do with me, she certainly won't sign anything I give her, let alone something that could put money in my pocket! Fingers crossed.

Has anyone else had any problems with old loans in joint names with Ex partners?

The suspense is a killer - my PPI is for over £11,000 plus interest over £7,000 and it finishes in January as it will be 5 years. I have had 2 lots of NCB so I know I wont get much back but I am very curious as to what is happening.

    Oh well back to waiting.

Do the NCB cheques cancel out the reclaim amount?
    :(
  • Well, just off the phone from speaking to Delloittes. All Freedom Finance are still on hold. Its with Delloittes legal department and no time scale :(:(

    Hi Shelley
Surely Deloittes aren't being inconsistent with their information again??? Did you get the form to complete? The women who phoned asked where we got our from, got us to confirm a few details and then said she'd pass our claim for payment. Maybe it was a hoax and I should phone back just to double check!
  • I've been looking through loan agreements, and I have a sofa with Land of Leather. They are gone, bankrupted, but the loan agreement is with Creation. Am I right in thinking my claim would ordinarily be through LoL, and if so I need to go via the FSCS?
Used to work for the Halifax; now works for another bank. Any comments are my opinion or suggestion, not a recommendation!

Finally a piece of good news - I hope! :) Just been told that First Plus have given Deloittes all the interest rate figures they needed and my claim is being passed to 'claims handling' today who apparently are going to work out what is owed (are they the same as the calculations dept?) Couldn't be specific about how long this step would take though. Can anyone shed any light?

Any other Wilmslow bodies making progress?
