  • Well i e-mailed fscs to see if they had recieved anything on friday. They must of passed it on as i recieved this today from deloitte. The thing is i don't know if it's good or bad news?

A decision has been reached and the case will be returned to the FSCS in the next few days to finalise.

    Regards

Sounds promising, you would have heard by now if you didnt have a case. Fingers crossed!

  • Cheers both. we can't cross anything else:)
  • I sent my completed forms back to Deloittes on 11th Nov then had a letter from them on 15th saying initial checks have been done and they are processing my claim. I don't know what that means but I am waiting with fingers crossed that it will be good news and that it wont take too long. You never know!!
  • Hi all , just spoke to my case worker at Deloittes and told my claim against picture has just been passed " downstairs " ????

Anybody know the procedure from the point of going Downstairs ???

Hi shaven76, this probably means that the data gatherers have got all the information and have passed it on to the calculations team. Fingers crossed, wont be long now.:)
  • Hi , I will probably wait until end of next week beofre i ring again as dont want to seem like im pestering them , are they able to tell you the outcome / any amounts over the phone and if so does anybody know what timescales from being passed downsatirs to the claim being resolved ?

Hi, call them tomorrow and ask the questions, it depends on the case worker and how much information they can give you. If they have passed the case on, it could by just a matter of weeks before you receive the outcome of the claim and monies due.
  • So does it mean the claim is successful if it has been passed downstairs ???

This I can recall would be the investigation and to see if your eligible and now that they are processing it, then in my opinion is good news, good luck.;)
