Hi
It looks like its all moving forward then, it all depends on how quicky Picture send them the relevant details, ring them weekly for updates.
Its difficult to predict a timescale, but hopefully all should be sorted before Christmas with a bit of luck.
Fingers crossed.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi !!
I was just curious if anyone has recently had a ppi claim against Picture with with the FSCS and knew the procedures and timescale from Deloitte receiving completed forms etc to a decision being made etc0 -
Well going back on the lucky one's it's about 4 weeks. But as Di says it depends on Picture and how fast they respond.0

Hi Liverpool1966, I sent my forms off on the 3rd November and called them on Monday 14th, they are waiting one final bit of information which should be in the next few days. However the case worker said it depends on how long Picture take to supply the information back to Deloittes - usually from start to finish 4-6 weeks. The case worker said that Picture PPI's are faster to process than others. So there is hope that a bumper cheque will arrive before Christmas.:)
PS. Why cant the Banks deal with them as quickly as the FSCS! Volume - maybe, but are'nt the Banks losing out on interest by delaying payments? Does'nt make sense, it's as if they buried their heads in the sand when the landmark hearing was won.0 -
STILL nothing from Welcome Finance or RBS/Natwest. They have 12 working days max. Getting particularly desperate to know, now our mortgage company is seeking a possession order mid December.
Hope others get some news today. x
Edit: Sent emails to WF 'help' and top dogs at RBS. Will update. soon hopefully.0 -
Another update on my Picture PPI claim through the FSCS, just had a call from my ex-wife to say that Deloittes had contacted her regarding the claim and whether she was ok for any payment to be made directly to me, which she said YES. She signed all the documents with me to proceed with the claim and thankfully she is happy for them to make payment to me. Good news from Deloittes I suppose, but I wont believe it until I receive the cheque. FINGERS CROSSED.0

Thanks little Italy. As i said my forms went in at the end of April and still waiting. My case worker said last Tuesday that it was going downstairs now he had finished with his part so as you say here's hoping.0 -
Well i e-mailed fscs to see if they had recieved anything on friday. They must of passed it on as i recieved this today from deloitte. The thing is i don't know if it's good or bad news?
A decision has been reached and the case will be returned to the FSCS in the next few days to finalise.
