Hi everyone, i have a claim for PPI with Deloittes, sent my forms in to them on the 9th August, they had requested information from my new mortgage company, which they have now received, spoke to Deloittes today, they are saying it should take another 3 weeks, does this sound right or are they just spinning me a line?
Hi and welcome
That sounds about right, going from my own experience.
Good luck, please keep us informed, cheers. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Thanks for the info, my claim was against Twopart, so fingers crossed wont have to wait to long!!0

HI everyone, just wondering if anyone can give me some advice re FSCS timescales.
I submitted my claim last November against a small broker, not in default then but it looks like at last that part is getting there.
Spoke to Deloittes 4 weeks ago and provided some further info they needed. At that time they said they hoped my case could be completed within a few weeks.
Spoke to FSCS a week later who said the complete opposite - it could still be several months!!
Today again spoke to Deloittes case worker who said that spreadsheets etc had been requested from the Lender, info from the Insurance Provider and info from the company I consolidated this loan with and they hope to have all this info next week. Also, said that it may be possible to have case sorted in about 4 weeks.
Any advice? Which timescale is more likely - Deloittes or FSCS? Because they have requested all the settlement figures etc does that mean that I have a valid claim?
It's getting a bit frustrating now as has been 11 months.
Thanks in advance for any help!0 -

Hiya
I know time can vary, but once they've confirmed they have received all the documentation they need, also from past lenders, it could be a matter of a few weeks from there.
I would keep in touch with them every other week or so and ask for updates.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Thanks Di, hopefully we are getting towards the end of the process!!
The guy from Deloittes did say to phone him again next week.
Do you know if it is likely they have already decided that my claim is valid as they have requested all this info. It is the typical PPI claim - all charged up front, told I had to have it for successful application etc etc.0 -

Hiya and your welcome.
Yes I'm sure you would have heard something way by now if there was a problem and you have a good case - the same case as us all, so you should be okay XThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi Kazza
Deloittes are telling you the same as me, they also requested info from my new lender, they have now received this info.
Spoke to Deloittes today and they are saying it should be another 3 weeks, let us know how you get on,
Fingers crossed for us both0 -

Thanks for that. Do you know if they mean that after that the cheque will be paid out or does it then have to go back to FSCS for further stuff?!0
