just sent my completed claim form to Deloittes, I think I will give them 2 weeks to get back in touch as no doubts they will request additional information. As LilacPixie had said earlier that they had requested a copy of their marriage certificate I have enclosed this along with the summary of loan and also a letter from Picture refusing my initial complaint. Cant see them needing anything else but who knows.
Looking on here it seems the turnaround time is usually about 6 weeks or so.
Fingers crossed.0 -
Got a phone call from Deloittes today asking me for more information....where I worked, what I do and what I meant when I said that the loan had been partially paid off. I explained that the majority of the loan was paid back when we sold our house with £8000 still remaining to pay back. She said that they treat partially redeemed loans differently but did not offer any more information, and I couldn't ask because I was at work.
Does anyone know what she means by "treating these loans differently"....?
Thanks.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

Suzy No idea what they mean by treating these types of loans differently, I guess they mean the calculation is different depending on how the lender allocated your partial repayment.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

I am not sure why they would even ask for a marriage certificate in the first place but thought it would be better to include this as we are no married and at the time we took out the loan it was in her maiden name but we both still stay at the same address.
Does anyone have any feelings on the banks change in stance, in particular Lloyds, and whether this could affect claims against companies i default such as picture. I would hope not but I have given up with expecting fair responses after the bank charges mess.0 -
Hi everyone, i have a claim for PPI with Deloittes, sent my forms in to them on the 9th August, they had requested information from my new mortgage company, which they have now received, spoke to Deloittes today, they are saying it should take another 3 weeks, does this sound right or are they just spinning me a line?0
