You send it to FSCS. On no account use a company there is just no need and they will rip you off good style. Some have been knwn to take 40%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. It is so easy to do it yourself. I think Linnie was rippped off by one of these companies and I know she was trying to get it back , but don't know how she got on.
Good luck.

You will get it all paid to you and the reason the need your mortgage details is because you get a liitle bit extra interest as I have said in PM.
Good luck

Thanks
If I remember correctly, Deloittes and FSCS where working on the claims, so don't worry. Deloittes where called in because of the extensive workload at the beginning of the Picture claims. I can't see any reason why you won't be paid out. I think it is just a matter of all the figures being worked out.

Hi
Not to worry, and its just procedure, as they have to check on the interest your paying, from what I remember you get so much of that back too.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
This is ridiculous all I can think of is this claim, it could take another 5 months!!0

Hi.
If the business are already in default, then hopefully you will hear sooner, fingers crossed.
Mine and some others had waited over a year and a half, even though the business were dissolved, we had to wait before they were actually declared in default before they could go anywhere with the claims.
Good luck and keep in touch with both Deloittes and the FSCS often for updates.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Who are Deloittes ? Are they a company which the FSCS are using to help with the backlog ?
As posted in other thread, i will be contacting FSCS on Monday morning with a view to claim ppi mis-sold from Compass Finance who are now dissolved (and already defaulted i thik?)
Will keep updates going in here as to my progress and for reference for others as to timescales etc.
I hope it doesn't take 18 months for my claimbut in saying that, i would rather wait and have a successful claim than have a quick answer which was a failure

Hiya
Deloittes are kind of partners to the FSCS who are left to deal with the claims, then once finalised the claims are sent back to the FSCS to pay out.
The FSCS send your details to them, and Deloittes are the ones who will contact by writing to you if they require any further information.
And as that business you are pursuing are listed, this means it cos they are already in default.;)
The reason why some of ours taken longer was because, even though the business were dissolved, we put in our claims anyway with the FSCS, and they were not actually listed as in default at the time of doing this, but the FSCS still had them on their own list.
But it should not take as long if they are already in default when putting in a claim. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
