thanks for that.....I am now at the bit about why I am claiming compensation (have been to asda for chocolate havent been taken this long to do it lol)....do you think im okay just keeping it simple ie being charged the interest for the 15 years and not aware could look elsewhere for it....or do I have to put it in alot more detail....I didnt really have alot of dealings by phone etc, it was only when the insurance expired (earlier this year) did I realise what the deal was.

    LOL don't worry Shaz.
Try to include everything that occurs to you, and of course, if you did not realise that the policy only covered for the first 5 years, it may also be a good idea to mention this as well, because they have been paying out because of these reasons.
Of course add the reasons you already have as well.;)

Hi there and well done on your success.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon, and with a bit of luck someone will know your best direction to take if this is not resolved, and post up soon, good luck with this.;)

We've had a response from FSCS. Although, they admit their error in advising to cancel policy, they can not pay the £1680 we would have received next year as NCB, but have offered us £100 compensation; what an insult! We will be taking this further, but looking at their complaints policy, it will be along process, and really can't see us getting that £1680.
All this, from people who are supposed to help us.

  • Hi does anyone have a contact bogor delloite? I have misplaced my letter from them and would like to chase it up! Am I right that it's only taking around one month for claims to be processed and the delloite only gets them if they are successful?

    Thanks

    Hi there

I cannot find my old paperwork, but googled it, and the head office number was shown as 020 7936 3000, you could either take a chance, ring them and ask them to put you through to the dept who deals with claims, or the FSCS will give these to you, or hopefully someone on here will post the direct number up for you, good luck.

I think they are getting on with them as quickly as possible, if the business have already been declared in default, then that's half the battle.;)
