Right....here goes..... me and my memory lapse :o:D. LOL

I put in my claim about June/July 2008, even though the business Twopart/eloan dissolved quite a while before that, it was then about Sept 2009 before they were declared in default, and payment was about October 2009.;)

    Twopart Limited defaulted on 08/09/2009

Remember though the business your complaining of are already there, so it should not take as long. X

  • Busbyh how long did urs take? They haven't asked me for any mort details yet! Will they ask me for specifics or will they just call c&g on my behalf? I was hopeful mines would b complete by end of month as other claimaints were saying theirs only took 1 month!! We r struggling a bit because I'm off work on maternity leave but do they really deal with priority cases quicker? L

Wow, was thinking it would be months and months !! I could live with it being 1-2 months....... in fact, would be a nice early present in time for all the Christmas shopping :)

Just an update on my claim, instead of waiting until Monday i filled in the online claim form on FSCS and i am now awaiting them contacting me. I will call on Monday just to make sure they got it :)

Hi Keira, Our took some time, but that was because they were not in default when we firs put our claim in. If my memory serves me correct, we started in July 08 and were paid out in Nov. 09. Saying that nothing could be done until default and that was, I think july/aug 09. So about 4 months.I don't think you will be waiting that long as they should now know what they are are doing. Deloittes did contact our mortgage lender for the details, but I also contacted them myself to try and hurry them along.
Try not to worry as i'm sure it won't take as long as ours as they had a lot of investigating to do at the beginning of it all.
I rememeber them saying the Mortgage lender where taking there time in supplying th info and this held up the claim, this was why I cntacted them myself. Try ringing Deloittes and see where they are up too. I was never off the phone to them
Good luck and try not to get too stressed out in your condition, it will come good in the end, i'm sure.
