Hi there, you get all of the PPI back plus some interest, but not sure how to work it out. You need our marshallka for that one, she is so good with the figures. If you haven't rcd any NCB then they cannot deduct anything from the claim.
I shouldn't think you will be waiting too long, not like us old 'Picturites' - they appear to know what they are doing now.
Good luck
xx
Hi to pinknico, di and all the old, old picturites, doesn't it just seem an eternity ago when we were all "fighting for justice"!!

I am so sorry di, I know he suffered and as you say he is now out of pain, but 69 is so,so young. It is quite often the pneumonia that does it.
As you say he is now out of pain and i'm sure you have lots of good memories of him.
Take care
xxxx
I knew a lovely poem and if I can remember the words I will post it up. You may know it, it goes something like,
God walked around his garden and looks at all his flowers, He cares for every one of them, some of which are ours.
He cares for and he nurtures them every sigle day ............................
Will have to try and remember it all
xx
Thank you Busbyh:A, he had suffered pneumonia about 6 times in the last few years, having emphsema did not help it, due to him working down the coal mines, but this time I did feel he was ready to go. I suppose 69 is classed as young these days.
I have lots of happy memories of dad, lots of good times, he was such an amazing dad, a family man and everybody's friend with a GSOH, no matter how he felt he always managed to smile for everyone.;)
I look forward to hearing that good poem if you remember it, that will be lovely, thank you so much.
Hope all is well with you and your lovely family. XXXXXX:AThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi Pinknico,
Lovely to hear from you. We are all fine here, just come back from a family holiday in Malaga. Had a fantastic time - kids had a ball.
Can't beleive where the time has gone. You wonder how we all kept our sanity through it all. But we got there in the end as i'm sure the rest of the posters' will.
How are your babies, still keeping you busy, I should think.
Take care

Could I ask those people who got their compensation from FSCS from their Picture ppi - did you still get your No Claims Bonus AFTER you received your compensation?
We received our compensation last month but, because we are due to receive our first NCB next month, the compensation took this into account.
We are now wondering what the likelihood is of actually receiving this NCB?
I would love to hear of anyone's experience, good or bad!;)0 -

I'm almost certain that as long as the policy is still in force you will receive your NCB. Can't see any reason why you shouldn't. I think this is why FSCS have deducted it because they know you will be receiving this from Insurers. Although I don't think it is right that they have deducted it, but i'm sure they did this to others on here and they went on the receive the NCB.
Good luck
xx
PS.
We had already remortgaged when we were paid out, and the Insurance cancelled so this didn't apply to us.dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
