The relief is unbelievable chickpee. Have you rang FSCS again. We were going to leave it, but thought , "what the hell". Give them another go

Hi pinknico, now that I have calmed down, I an see exactly what you mean. Picture have taken it off and therefore our loan balance was less, hence the reduced payments.:o
Which in turn would show a 0.00 on settlement breakdown. Also we did gain about £1700 , as Picture did waive early settlement interest, so that was a bonus for us.

My daughter has just come home and checked the cheque and they have put the wrong initial on it, so they will have to send another one out. She is well pleased, but still worried as having a stressful time in work, unfortunately.

Very mixed emotions then I would think busbyh. I hope she sorts something out with work soon. One less worry but another comes along. :rolleyes: Isn't life cruel sometimes.

I's sure they'll be ok. She has until MArch, so more than likely will find something before then. Got to stay positive. At least she will be rid of most of her debts, which is a plus. Imagine if she hadn't won, could have been in a far worse position. If I recall the same thing happened to Honey 2 with her husband being made redundant and also your OH is still looking for a job di.
