Pleased you have not been conned busbyh, are they sending out a new cheque?

Just don't like leaving anything to chance!!!
No, he forget to tell them about the wrong initial, just see if the bank will accept it. He will take the letter with him that is attached to the cheque. That has both names correct

    :naughty: Hi all
This is my first time posting but have been reading the thread for a while now. I stupidly took out a loan with picture in October 2005 and after a while realised what a huge mistake I made. I went through the usual of writing letters being told no they had done nothing wrong and the rest of it. I gave up but thanks to you guys now have justed posted the claim form to Deloittes so will keep my fingers crossed.
I had not realised until I read a previous post that although life cover was joint nothing else was, its a good job me and my wife did not die in an accident or my son would have been homeless. My loan was for £54 K and I stll owe these pirates nearly £80K its so so scarey.
My claim is in I have 3 jobs to keep the roof over our head, have suffered depression and thought about giving it all up but now I have something to keep me going. I'm really happy for all the people who beat these legal loan sharks and hope and pray I can get one back.
Just out of interest the person who sold me the PPP was called Tim O'Loughlin just wondered if any other people dealt with him.
Thanks again guys for giving me a little hope.

    Hi and welcome Bodkins

Wishing you luck with your claim.

I'm sure you will be successful with this and now that you have your claim in you shouldn't be waiting about too long now.
I would as well contact the FSCS for updates, if your in hardship let them know and ask if they are able to assess on a priority basis.

I was not with Picture but with another company that also been declared in default, and mine was worked on as a priority case because of my hardship circumstances.
I'm sure others on here will get back to you about the person you mentioned as above who have had dealings with him.

Please keep us posted, that would be cool, and please do feel free to join in on here.

    Good luck.

Hi bodkins and welcome, pleae don't despair, you will win on this one as we all have.
That wasn't the person who sold our PPI.
Everybody appears to be getting paid out by FSCS and we all have the same reasons for missell. Although your claim has only just gone in , I don't thinkyou will be too long as they are now uo to date, with no backlog.
Please post if you need any help or advice, we are all here to help you.
It has been a long road for most of us but now is almost over.
    Good luck

That's a good start then BOb.
I think ours was with them for about 2 weeks, but they have no backlog now. Once it did come back to deloitte it has only taken about a week to receive the cheque.
I'm sure it will be sorted for Christmas for you as FSCS did tell one of our posters they have no backlog now. As I have said before they will want this sorted before the Christmas holiday as their timescale for completion is 6th January. They won't want to come back after christmas to a backlog after getting it cleared.
    Good luck
    xx

Just checked email Bob and I was told on 27th Nov it was at FSCS and cheque was sent out 1st Dec. Deloiites rcd info from Picture on 19th Nov. So from Deloiite receiving info from Picture and us the cheque it was 11days
