Yes I have been studying the replies regarding NCB but due to picture saying we had defaulted on 3 payments we would not be getting our NCB. At this point I must add that one of these was when they failed to inform us of yet another increase in our payment so under the direct debit guarentee I reclaimed the payment, they then started if with heavy handed tactics telling me that the letter must have got lost in the post and I had 48 hours to repay the money or they would start proceedures to reposses my home. A fat lot of good the DD guarentee seems to be, so I cancelled the PPP and had a rebate sent to the loan all £3,000 of it which made a grand total of £7 reduction in payments. What I find amazing is that being told that as long as we did not make a claim on the policy we would get these NCB , but they never mention a late payment as falling into arrears just say that it was in the paperwork you signed therefore you must have read it, I don't know if it's true but I'm sure I read somewhere that things like this should be made clear to you and not hidden away in section 12 paragraph 4 article E in the small print, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Any how any one waiting today good luck , and my wife has said we won't win we never do someone will fail so am trying my best to make her see the positive side in this.
Please tell your wife to stay positive bodkins. When we first started this claim, I thought it was just a shot in the dark, and look at us now. We were paid out this week:j
I just cannot see any reason why they would decline your claim when it appears everybody has won against that firm called PICTURE. Even the one who was declined, has won on appeal and they even had the transcript of her call, which even told her about the cooling off period. In fact there was nothing they didn't advise her about and she still won.

Do as di has suggested and call fscs and don't be afraid. We all were a little hesitant every time we rang them, but we kept on and on and on....................................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I am right in saying that when you WIN your claim (not if),they will deduct this £3000 from your settlement figure. This is what they did with us. We cancelled the PPI and rcd £698 rebate and this was taken off the settlement figure. But will still leave you with a good amount that is owing to you.

There are some posters who only put their claims in Aug/Sept and have been paid out already.dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
Cheers guys this is cheaper than the pub for cheering myself up the origional cost of the PPP was £5 shy of £17 K scarey to think that this only covered my wife for the first 5 years of this loan.
I just feel really bad about all of this putting my family home at risk, I know I could have just defaulted and let them take the house but we have worked hard for it and I refuse to give them bar stewards even the drippings off the end of my nose I cannot believe how gullable I was anyways when 1 job finishes i shall pop home and be back at work at 7 to 12 tonight then back in at 7 to 3 tomorrow fortunately I have Sunday off to spend with my wife and son (hopefully he still remembers me as it's 2 weeks since I last spent a day with him) so positive thinking all round0 -

I'm, glad you didn't let them take your house bodkins, This almost happened to dialysis on here. She actually moved out and was in a council house and was advised to get back in there. She did and her claim was paid a month or two ago. She is so glad she moved back in and fought for it.
The policy itself does not run any longer than that. After the five years none of us would have any cover, we would need to take out more Insurance to cover the remaining term:mad: Toal rip off. 17k for five years of cover!!!!!!
At least with this claim you should get your £17000 plus interest paid to date.(-£3000) PPI rebate.
The fscs pay the first £2000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim.
If you have had the loan since OCT 05 that's over 4years of interest back, which should amount to a tidy sum for you.plus the ppi amount
We got just under £2000 interest for 30mths. on a ppi of £8732.dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
Bodkins - I would like to say - I am not one of the picturite reclaimers - I read this thread everyday because I have come to genuinly care (in a non dodgy/stalker like way) about the people on this thread because they have gave so much to everyone else in the PPi reclaiming forum & there would need to be something wrong with you to take all their good advice on board & not bother about them. You are in so fantastic hands here it's unbelievable.................Oh if only it was me giving out the New Years Honours list:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

Totally agree with you fin. Everyone here gives me the confidence to fight back. I am no longer the little man and I am now encouraging others to take the fight to the money men.0 -
Can't believe that I have, at last ,a weekend where I am not sitting here and wishing it was Monday, and waiting for the cheque.!!
