    Bodkin, found the post, this is how marshallka works out PPI part of repayment

    Marshallka, I have been reading throught the past posts where you worked out the interest element of out PPI. On the info I gave you I would say you were spot on
    .We rcd £2072 in interest and you worked out we were payng £65.09. That over 29 months=£1887.61 the differerence being £185.28 which is the interest which we paid to the new lender. Their % rate is only 2.4% or thereabouts, so WELL DONE TO YOU and thank you:Axx

    bodkin, the way marhallka has worked out the interest paid on the ppI seems to be about 19.97%, so for ease if you just say one fifth of your monthly payment is interest x number of payments made. It will give you some idea.
    I'm sure if marshallka is about she will help you on this one. I'm am not very good at these calc !!

    Have sent my claim form they received it last week so asking advice now do i just forget about it for 6 months or do i ring now and again sue

    Hi there blakeney
    I don't think you will be waiting that long, because they are already in default, I would contact them say in another fortnight, just for an update.

    If your in hardship let them know before hand and ask them if they can deal with your case as a matter of priority.

    Good luck with this and good one for getting your form off, hope you won't be waiting too long now.:beer:
