That looks ok Busbyh, you just need the lady to reassure you that at the time you cancelled the PPI in 2008 £698.10 was removed from the loan total and was not included in the settlement figure.
But I expect that it is all fine it is just Picture not giving breakdowns again to customers but the FSCS will have everything broken down and would have spotted any funny business!
Thanks pinknico. I did think maybe they (picture) have taken it into account with the settlement figure, if they give us a proper breakdown we would not have this hassle.
Think you are probably right though, but just need to be sure. Better off in their (my daughter's )pocket if it is wrong.

Hi pnknico,I see what you are saying but we settled the loan 3 months after cancelling the PPI so only rcd 3 months of reduced payments, which amount to about £10 at most
Yes but this was reduced by £2 because the loan was reduced by £698.10 and although you settled the settlement figure would have been an extra £698.10 if you HADNT cancelled the PPI. So although you only saw the £10 if Picture had sent a PROPER breakdown! it would have shown the £698.10 on cancellation.DS1 12/10/04

As you say if Picture had been at all proffessional in any of their calculations and figures they sent to customers there would be no delay in banking cheques!DS1 12/10/04

Whichever way it goes, they will be able to bank the cheque by the end of the week and get rid of their Credit card first and foremost
