Companies in Default/FSCS Claims - Picture, London Scottish, Twopart

hi everybody,we have had our claim in since may/june of this year,we didnt realise at the time that we had to wait for picture to go into default, when we paid them off by the time we paid it back the amount of ppi we got rebated was worthless because they had put that much interest on top we didnt  notice we paid anything off.
Ours has been with them since Sept 08.but it appears it makes no difference as they couldn't do anything at all with it until they were declared in default, whuch was August this year.
We actually cancelled the PPi in the AUg before we had settled the loan and rcd no rebatedialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
is it to late for me to contact fscs. as my ppi with picture i have now found out only lasts for 5 years and only my husband is covered not me even though it is a joint account
Hi blakeney,
No, it is not too late, get in touch with FSCS tomorrow and request a claim form. We are all here for you if you need any help with it.
I just wish MArtin would put this on one of his T.V. shows, to hilight the fact people can claim from Picture, as I am sure there are lots out there with loans that are still unaware, and to honest this makes me really angry that Picture can get away with it.
Good luck, and get on to it right awaydialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
i was going to cancel it but when i rang up i was told we wouldnt notice much difference in our payments.also when we had a look at the agreement we had with them we didnt realise that i was the only one covered on the ppi and my husband had underlying conditions so we wouldnt have got anything anyway it cost £9,000 must be just for me so would that have meant if they had covered my husband would it have cost us £18,000 ha what a cheek:mad:Ours has been with them since Sept 08.but it appears it makes no difference as they couldn't do anything at all with it until they were declared in degaul, whuch was August this year.

hi there when we were sent an e mail to ask for info from our mortgage lender they told us that was the only thing holding everything up,its maybe to see how much interest you are still paying on that ppi,if you borrowed to pay them off because theoretically you are still paying interest on it.:o
That is the reason they want the extra info, to work out the interest on the PPI part of the remortgage, which we get back. Deloitte did tell me this.dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
I agree busbyh, we were told that all Deloitte were waiting for was the details from C&G, and as they already have everything else, they just required the mortgage details in order for them to get on with it, so here's hoping now they confirmed they received these yesterday, that they do finally get on with them.
Like you said, with it being a fixed mortgage it should be more or less straight forward, here's hoping and to everyone else as well.
I'm sure you will hear soon di

When we cancelled, I was just so angry and didn't think about it. It really does feel it's been forever moggy, but i'm sure it is nearing the end. The light at the end of that tunnel must be getting br:Dighter.
We would have been lost without one another on this thread and wouldn't have had a clue what was going on.
