I've just been reading through request for info that deloittes sent to bldg Soc,. Now this may not mean anything, but I am not too sure.
This was one of the requests, although it is not applicable to BS.
In relation to the PPI (if calculated by you) any premium rebates due upon cancellation/already paid under “cash back” schemes (if applicable)
This is the info needed to complete out claim.
I just feel that they have treated the NCB the same as the premium rebates, which are totally different.
What do you think?
Yeah definately otally agree. Does seem that way. Hopefully, get an answer from them soon and if not satisfactory (which I suspect) I suppose I go to the FOS ?
Hi barloo, I have been trying to get my head around this all day. Just cannot understand how fscs hare working it all out.
When you look at the breakdown, on a post today, it states less rebate on cancellation of insurance. It's as though they are assuming it will be cancelled, otherwise why should they deduct this from the payment ,and that the amount deducted can be claimed back from Ins Co. although not saying it has to cancelled
Hopefully you will not have to tak it to FOS as i'm sure you have waited long enough for it.
I presume you are talking about Dannyboys post btw. I though that as well. Also that woulmean the policy is still live and why would he cancel it when he would receive a NCB on his anniversary date !!! Doesnt make any sense.

We no wawait the outcome of yours. As you probably saw I did post the same info more or less on the thread. As you said previously, best to keep all picturites in the loop - just in case;)
Definately agree Busby, there must be others out there in the same boat and they need to be aware that would appear they are being short changed by having their NCB deducted. If you see a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck !!!!!!

Boredatwork.....
Come on surely you can see that this was sent as much for the benefit of the poor call centre workers at Picture as much as for myself..My case with them is closed and I'm sure they'll get as big a laugh reading it as I did writing it;)
I've said on many occassions that I've always found them very helpful and as much a victim of the very questionable decisons of the senior managemt as I am...after all those that are left are just lucky to have a job.
I'm a professional Marketing Manager but have also spent my fair share of time on a call centre phone so I have always shown as much patience as possible to those I speak to and always begin each conversation with the line...."I apologise beforehand for anything I say during this conversation, I know it's not your fault but at this moment you are representing a company that I have a mjor issue with"
I'm not sure what you're situation is with Picture so I won't jump to any conclusions, and I know that the delay was not all the fault of of Picture, however they could have avoided the whole FSCS situation by dealing with the original compliant quickly rather than deliberatley delaying things in the knowledge that the FOS and FSCS were so busy that they could 'park' my compalint and not have to worry about for a couple of years.
I think all on here have shown a degree a patience usually reserved for the study of geology....The Himalyas could move faster than Picture when it comes to paying out money and this is bound to cause even the most undrestanding of souls to eventually loose their temper....
I'd point out that during the conversation with the call centre from Picture I apologised several times after my tirade, asked for the persons name and thanked them for dealing with what I know was a difficult in a calm and professional manner.
I think were all entitled to fly off the handle once in a while and those on this forum more than most!!
Well said, gumbi.
Although I don't work in a call centre, I do work in for Large organisation and we have actually had the pleasure of reading a letter of complaint, several in fact, from the same person.
it was really funny, as each letter they sent in (which I assume was being ignored) the font size got BIGGER AND BIGGER until it reached the biggest possible. By the last one the language was "choice" to say the least. But as you say, the laughs we got from this. it would have been worth going to work that day for no pay:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -

Hi everybody, congratulations to recent winners, anybody know if a payout r.e picture loan has been made to someone who settled (paid off) their loan with re-mortgage etc ??0
-
Hi all!
Very quiet indeed on here - no news for me
Honest bob I have not read of anyone who had remortgaged etc to pay off picture who has been paid out!! I am in that position so hope it is not a bad sign:huh:0 -
Pengi, I bet its difficult for them to work out how to redress complaints whereby the loans have been paid off. Also they won't rush with these either perhaps as they have nothing to lose by doing it this way. They already have their money.Hi all!

:idea:Would be interesting to see if all of us waiting have remortgaged - That is me, Busbyh and Di as far as I now? Anyone else?0
-
O.k thanks everyone, lets keep each other informed though. I don,t think they would go to the trouble of contacting our new lenders if we were to be denied our claims so hopefully this is just a waiting game, not sure if old wulf had re-financed,
have any of the settled loan people had their claims sent back to fscs ?0
