It does look like that Chickpee and Sandzb had their claims sent back to be recalculated at Deloitte as the FSCS took so long to check calculations and issue a cheque. Did the FSCS lose them, did they end up on the wrong desk?
Is mine the only one that was sent next day special delivery and was that because it should have been dealt with sooner?

We will never know but I hope this is the final stretch for all you lovely people.xx

I have not heard of anyone else receiving their's by special delivery, although you did wait long enough for them to deal with it didn't you hun?

ours was originally returned from deloittes to fscs on 09/10 and then sent back to deloittes on 10/11 returned to fscs 12/11. over a month fscs had it!

What the hell is going on, sandzb. so is it still with FSCS or ith Deloitte

They must have both come up with different calcs and trying to sort it, to get to the same figure

Very frustrating for you, for it to go this far, then back to square one again. Its not nice is it?

I contacted deloite today they said that my file has not even got to them yet but a few weeks ago i spoke to fscs and they said it was wth deloites damm im confused .They got 4 weeks then i think we should all have are cheques as its nearly xmas then.

Give the FSCS a call tomorrow, tell them you have contacted deloitte and they say they do not have your file yet, maybe the FSCS will have more answers for you here, good luck.;)
Tell them your confused about the whole situation, being told one thing then another.
