Just spoken to nationwide, will not send anything direct until signatures are verified. He said the signatures on the FSCS claim form do not look the same as the one's on the mortgage account:confused: signature don't normally change do they!!!!
Calling in with passports etc, tomorrow to verify. Hopefully we may get somewhere then.

I do wonder if any of these establishments know what that are talking about though, as the girl in Nationwide asked if this was for a new loan, and yet she had all the details up on the screen, "Just put me through to someone who knows what they are talking about", was the response" !!!!

I REALLY DO DESPAIR AT TIMES:mad::mad::mad::mad:

OMG, how frustrating this is for you busbyh.........:mad:, if it isn't one its the other......:mad:.
Hope they sort this out for you hun.;)

Well since receiving the email from our senior case handler/deloitte this morning to confirm they have received the details by attachment, there have been no come backs............yet, nothing surprises me with them anymore though, so here's hoping nothing more is needed.

    Congratulations Lozza :j:j

My husband rang the FSCS this morning and after being told for weeks that our case was under management review we have now been told that it is back with Deloittes. We don't know why.

To be fair the person was very helpful this morning and has said they have chased our file up so that it will hopefully be back with them at the end of this week. We are no nearer to knowing what the decision is though.

We are just hoping we get a conclusion soon. The wait isn't getting any easier.

Hope you all are well and that those still waiting get some good news this week xx

Hi chickpee, sounds to me as though yours won't be much longer now:D

I certainly hope so, I did email back after receiving the email confirmation from them, to tell them if that was not the correct info to get back to me if they could straight away, to sort this out, but up to now, have not heard anything, so fingers crossed.
Hope they get on with yours as well hun, its been a very stressful time for us all.........., fingers crossed for you as well hun Xxx

Quite confused really, pinknico. On one hand Deloitte say the info we faxed is what they need, and then go on to say contact BS and get them to send it on:confused::confused:
The info they send will be exactly the same as they have faxed us, which we in turn faxed to Deloitte:mad::mad:

    EDIT
Another thing, deloittes said it was the figures that didin't add up, nothing to do with info from BS. It was the figures from Target they need again to clarify a few things, so why all this hassle with the BS now.

Morning everyone. Just wanted to let you know that my cheque arrived on Sat. I last called the FSCS on Thursday and I was told it was still with the assistant manager so I was very surprised when there was an FSCS env on the table when I came home on Sat evening. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    The calculations are as follows:

    Original PPI premium £14,970.00
    Interest £ 3,842.24
Less Rebate is canel £ 1,112.87
    Compensation £ 50.65
    Total £ 17,750.12
    Total Payable £16,375.11

Of course I am made up that the cheque has arrived but I can't help feel guilty when di, busbyh and others have been waiting for longer than I have... and it is only thanks to them that I even knew that making this claim was possible. :A Thank you SO much. xxx

Lozza, do you plan on cancelling the PPI or keep it running?

My hubby decided to email them, considering I sent all the details, here just now received an email back to let us know that it is the correct info and they are to review everything together, and if anything is out of date they will request for more info, so they will not know at this stage what the outcome of the decision will be.......
Anyone any idea how long a review actually takes by deloittes?

Busbyh they will need up to date info from BS as the interest will be more now as you have had to wait so long, if a month has passed thats another months interest to add on.xx
