Is chickpee waiting on picture or another company.
Yes, we are still waiting for Target, but that was about 3 weeks ago. so I don't know what happened to their two week timescale
Also I received a letter from BS yesterday with letter from Deloitte attached with info they required and are apparantley still waiting on. The BS are asking us to call in to verify signatures before they will send info to Deloitte, looks like more delays, unless these letters have crossed in the post, as they were sent from another dept at deloitte and we faxed the info across 3 weeks ago.
This info, as far as I am aware is already with deloitte, this is what I have emailed them about.
The date on the letter from Deloitte to BS was 29th October. BS date stamp as rcd was 4th NOV.
Busby
I bet your resuest is with mine for target - altough the data gatherer requested it over three weeks ago in their system, they do not sned it until thei spreadsheet is full, and they request a whole batch at a time so it only went to delloittes last fri!!!! Our BS was also a bit reluctant to give info
but did eventually 0 -

we wait again to see if anything happens next week:rolleyes: I assume the letter sent to the building society was from the data gatherer, i'm just hoping it has crossed in the post. Sometimes these depts have different sections, working on different parts, and don't keep one another informed, lack of communication between them!!!!
We actually still have all the info from the BS, which has been faxed, but we were told from deloittes that when they were working on the calculations, the figures just did not add up, and requested them again from Target, so I don't think it is the info from the building society they are waiting on.
I feel there is a discrepancy with the figures target have given dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
barloo,
I've just been reading through request for info that deloittes sent to bldg Soc,. Now this may not mean anything, but I am not too sure.
This was one of the requests, although it is not applicable to BS.
In relation to the PPI (if calculated by you) any premium rebates due upon cancellation/already paid under “cash back” schemes (if applicable)
This is the info needed to complete our claim.
I think FSCS have treated Premium Rebates and NCB as one and the same, in your case, but not in all!!
I just feel that they have treated the NCB the same as the PREMIUM REBATES, which are totally different.
What do you think, if you did not cancel the PPI, you would not get the PREMIUM REBATE, but you would still be entilted to the NCB.if the policy was left to run.
Still don't understand how they can deduct the amount of rebate due, on the assumption we would cancel the policy.
Really am confused at the way have calculated.
If they were telling us we had to cancel the Policy I could understand them deducting the rebate, bt they are not saying this.dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -

I'm still waiting on Picture Busbyh.
Good news that some more cheques were sent out although I can't understand why we haven't heard yet. Our loan is still with Picture so we assumed it would have been fairly straightforward.
Hope those still waiting hear next week xx0 -

Hi chickpee, I though you were, well that puts paid to my theory if you still have a loan with them
When did you send your claim form to FSCS? Just have no idea anymore, everything is just guesswork now. As you say, it is good more have rcd cheques, as it did go really quiet for awhile.
Lets hope we get some news this week;)dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -

Ours went in August 08 about the same time as Pinknico's. We have a low reference too so that obviously makes no difference.
I'm sick to death of waiting now and I'm so stressed by it all as I'm worried there is a problem with our claim. The FSCS have been so non-committal whenever I've rung and if anything have made me feel more concerned about it. All I hear is it is with a manager for review and you will hear soon. That's been the case since at least sept 24th.
My husband is ringing tomorrow so I will let you know what they say.0 -
I wonder if the hold up is that the FSCS is trying to sort out a definate rule type of thing with regards to claiming the NCB, leaving the insurance usuable etc? Perhaps they are in talks with the FSA etc..... just a thought..??0

Hi chickpee, I really do know how you feel, I am the same, ours was just after yours in Sept. And yes I am also worried by it all. It's just be patient, that's all I seem to get.
Hopefully your husband will find something out tomorrow. I am also hoping for a reply to my email tomorrow. They normally do get back in a short time. I sent it on Friday night, so am expecting a reply when I get in from work just after one tomorrow.
We shall wait and see;)dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0
