Hi pengi,
Have only been able to post once before, difficult for me to as i have to read forum when im at work.
We havent remortgaged (yet!) was waiting to get ppi sorted and somehow managing to keep up payments to Picture, but its hard. So wud have thought our claim was fairly straightforward. As I put in my orginal post first started claim a year ago, letter from deloittes in August, rang them last week, they said FSCS had sent it back to them to be recalculated and wud be dealt with in next couple of days. We guessed this was probably because we received NCB in October. (And yes we will be writing to them if NCB is deducted).We are going to ring them again today or tomorrow because we really need to know if we are gona get a cheque!
Reading all you posts really does make you feel like your not alone in this! Thanks everyone:T

Thats interesting to hear. I also received NCB at beginning of October and then received my compo end of October. I then raised the issed of NCB being deducted with them in a letter as did (I hope) others from the site.

So maybe the delay in them paying you out at this time is because they are looking at the NCB issue.

Im hoping anyway.

Good luck Pengi, I think this is the only way, we have to keep on just to know what's happening, instead of wondering and being anxious of what's going on.:beer:

"Timed Out" makes sense does it not? Hopefully it wont take as long this time round

YIPPEE! I have had a positive response - no cheque but he has replied with this..........

Yes the information has been received and it has been with the case handler for a couple of days, I would give you more information if I had it but at the moment our database is down so I do not know if it has moved any further down the line.
