Theres a template letter that we have put together. I will look back and find out which page it is on. You can use this as a basis and put your own info in.

must admit I did go a little bit sick, at first.
Here is an outline of the letter:

We refer to the appoinment of ********(the Liquidators)****

We understand that you are a former customer of the CO. and have made a claim to the FSCS relating to mis-selling of PPI by the company. The compnay has no assets from which any claim can be settled so claims such as yours are being handles with the FSCS and not the liquidators.

Until such a time that the FSCS have finalised your claim, you technically still remain a creditor of the company even though there is no prospect of the Company making payment to you.

It just goes on then about reports etc. and an invitation to attend a meeting, or complete enclosed Proxy form with our details.

What do you think

The way I read it, it has been sent out existing customers, don't think it will be the one's who have settled

Yes the information has been received and it has been with the case handler for a couple of days, I would give you more information if I had it but at the moment our database is down so I do not know if it has moved any further down the line.

We are invited to a Liquidators meeting but they will not be able to provide any info about the FSCS process at that meeting.

A proxy form is attached which needs to be lodged with the liquidator to entitle you to vote at the meeting. As it's not particularly relevant to our claim we are just ignoring it.

Well I emailed the FSCS again, just to make sure they are still treating the case as priority......I'm sure Deloittes can see all the arrears on the mortgage details.......:o.

I will be relieved to see a post posted up on here today by one of you to say the cheques are on the way :j:j
