Just received an email here from Deloittes:
    Dear ,
I have not yet been passed any post in respect of your case, but it might mean that it has been received and simply hasn't reached me yet.

    Kind regards

Does anyone know if Deloittes have an email/contact details to the postal dept of Deloittes.

I am wondering if we ring C&G as they confirmed 2 days ago they were posting by Special Delivery if they will give us the tracking reference number?
Surely if this was sent by special delivery, which they did say this 2 days ago, it would have been received to deloittes by now.

Any suggestions folks, seems like a fob off again to be honest, and the union, (the one dealing with the case is away on meetings today), so cannot contact him.

As far as I know going by the email we received also 2 days ago from Deloittes data organising dept, they state as soon as the post arrives it will go direct to the person who is dealing with the case, such as the senior case handler.
    Email here:
    Dear ,

In response to your query, once the case is being handled by a Case Handler they will then deal with all aspects of the case. So for your case XXXXXXXX XXXXX will receive the post as soon as we get it, this helps to minimise delays caused by moving files.

I apologise for my delay in responding but I was not in the office yesterday.

    Yours Sincerely

Just spoken to the data gatherer agin and it was some info from target missing!
Apparently this is how the process works - Deloittes request info and they hold it until they have a big enough batch to electronically send to target - so data gatherer requested it on 27th but the batch will not go to target until today!:mad:They apparently usually respond the next day with the info required and then it goes to a case handler.

I now have the number of one of the data gatherers also if that helps anyone!

    How annoying!!!

I did contact the data gatherer the other day and was sent that email above, he did not say a great deal, only that our details when posted from c&g will be sent directly to the senior case handler......

He's off the week after next so he'll ring then if we haven't heard anything. I know that I should ring them really but I'm getting so stressed out about it all now and I've never found the FSCS to be very helpful.

I must admit though I am wondering why there is such a delay on our case

Hope everyone else has some positive news soon.
