It would not be the monetary value that would concern me here. This is the only SAR we do have that show bad comments and yes your probably right many probably do have these bad comments.
I do not even want an apology from them, its just how I felt at the time of reading them.....very childish indeed!
The comments were actually made by the compliants Dept, names were even left.
I had my youngest home from school once ill and told them when they rang, this was before the loan advance apparently that I had not time to deal with the matter that day because I was dealing with some issues in regards of my son, it was a stupid comment like "why wasn't he in school"?? What is this to do with them anyway?
And of course that comment "arh so now they realise they cannot afford the repayments is it hahaha".......!!!
There were lots of other things but worse.0 -

I look back on my posts on here about firms that I have slagged and I also am guilty of saying "things out of turn". I would not want the same happen to me. :eek:0 -

I don't think I will bother to complain myself on this but others may if this happened to them as well, I really don't want to be wasting any more time on them to be honest, those comments posted on here are practically mild compared to some of them.
I understand they were probably angry at us complaining, but we were only doing what people do when mis sold.
I have been tempted every time I go back to look at the SAR, my sister Carol was livid when she seen them......, she said they could have kept their thoughts to themselves.
She was going to take this further before but I told her to forget it.
She said they are supposed to be the professionals here - not us!The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi marshallka, I do understand what you are saying. I just feel he/she should be made to realise and be a liitle more sensitive to others' problems. It could be they are quite young and are still learning, so to speak, but should be made to realise.
Also as for the claim, I personally don't think my daughter will take it any further, as at the end of the day she has used that loan to consolidate the existing loans she had. With a little over for themselves
I really believe, had they realised how much a rip off the PPI was, maybe they would not have signed up for the Insurance, but being honest they would still have signed up for the loan without the PPI-. They needed the money!!!!dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -

FSCS is making payment to you based on the information provided to us. I really believe, had they realised how much a rip off the PPI was, maybe they would not have signed up for the Insurance, but being honest they would still have signed up for the loan without the PPI-. They needed the money!!!!. I am not into this loan reclaiming back cause of little flaws in agreements, in fact quite against it (but just my view) BUT my loan with FP i think was not within our actual capability to repay according to my SAR and I have reason to believe that it was done with made up wages and wage address. We have the application and the wage slips we gave to them and also the P60's too BUT on the SAR is a made up address for my hubby as his address of employment and we have google earthed it and its a terraced house far away from us. There is also a time when I wanted to try to settle with them and they state what my hubby was earning and it was near on double what he was and I argue this with them. It then goes blank and I remember they changed it back again. THIS WAS NOT US though as we have proof of giving all the correct details on the application form. I think we did not earn enough to have this loan and PPI and figures were made up. Have not decided what to do with it yet as they could say they got things mixed up. May go to Citizens advice and see what they say. I think we were set up to fail as they say.

Hi Folks
The line on the letter is in relation to the PPI because that is what the compensation claim was about it was not about the actual loan - what it means is that if you bank the cheque you agree with the decision the FSCS has made and the amount of compensation paid for the bad advice - by accepting the cheque you then cannot i.e go to a 3rd party and make a claim for being miss sold or being given bad advice re PPI.

Marhallka I don't think you have offended anybody here, you and all of us are just expressing opinions. I do think things "happen" in one's life that makes other things pale into insignificance.
We have all been posting on here long enough to know it's ok to say what we think, without causing any offence;)
