Honey2 did have this on the bottom of her letter

FSCS is making payment to you based on the information provided to us. Please note if you bank the cheque you are accepting payment in full and final settlement of your claim for compensation from FSCS and in discharge of FSCS's obligation to you. You will also transfer to SCS your rights against the firm and third parties.

My top up was in October 2007 so I will approach the FOS once the PPI side is dealt with. Picture/Target even have an address to write to if there is problems with the loans.

If you are wanting to know if you can take a complaint to the FSCS about the loan itself then this would come under a "consumer credit complaint" and FOS did not have jurisdiction over these matters for companies such as Picture (that were only under the FSA since Jan 2005) until April 2007 and only for loans taken out since April 2007.

Our remit over businesses with a standard consumer credit licence only covers complaints about things that happened after 5 April 2007. Quite a large proportion of the enquiries we received at first concerned events that took place before that date, so they were not matters that we could help with. That is less of a problem now, and we expect numbers to build steadily as we go forward.

I don't know if the FSCS do the same? Maybe best to ask if they can accept these type complaints???
marshallka any ideas hun on where we go for help on this I am willing to go legal if needs be:D

I have been looking for this also. So if we transfer any rights against the firm is this saying we can make no further claim on Picture:confused:
