This was the email received on the 24 Sept from Deloittes

    Dear

Please can you advise if the second Nemo loan, that you took out directly with Nemo in July 2006, is still running? If not, please advise how it came to be paid off, did you redeem it from your own resources or via another loan from a new lender? If you took a loan from a new lender, please provide the contact details, including any loan reference number, for this new lender as we will need to contact them for information to help with our assessment of your claim.

I look forward to hearing from you in due course and would like to thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Then another email from Deloittes after we emailed with the details they required.
    Dear
Thank you for this information. This is what we need, i.e. details of all the lenders up to date. We will approach them for the information we need to help assess your claim, and will contact you again in due course if we need anything further from you.
    Kind regards

just had a call with Delliottes (I think I may be falling in love with whoever answered the phone! :) and found out something interesting: she told me that as far as she knew no-one had been sent compensation in regards to the picture case... make of that what you will!

As Deloitte are not dealing with all of the claims, she would not know if anybody had been paid out. Mammamia may not have been one of deloittes case, it was possibly sorted at the FSCS end

She would only have a list of the claims Deloitte are dealing with.!!!!!

Try and look at this in a positive way dialysis. Why would the FSCS spend loadsa cash employing a company like delloites to help process claims and then make themselves more work by disagreeing with their decision:confused:
I think it is just a case of their boss at fscs doing his/ her bit to check things over as its the fscs that are paying us:T

I think that is exactly the case, as it is FSCS who accountable for the funds and what is paid. As I said before, this is just part of the prodedure.

So how did they work out which claims went to deloitte and which stayed with the FSCS. I find it strange that some priority cases went to deloitte and as far as I am aware mammamias was a priority which possibly stayed with the fscs. If this stayed with the fscs it was dealt with a lot quicker than deloittes who also have priority cases. Totally flabbergasted to why some stay with fscs others go to deloitte. I know you probably cant answer this busbyh but i thought it was worth mentioning:D
