How long were you together before getting Engaged?

I moved in with my husband 3 month after going out with him,got engaged 5 month later and got married in may this year (with two kids in between!)

Met up end of December and became a "couple"

He moved in with me end of May 2008

Engaged end of June.... so 7 months after meeting.

Married Christmas Eve 2008

Now trying for a baby!!:D

Thank you clarence!! I don't nag him, we talk about it sometimes but its more in my own head than anything, i daydream about how he would do it etc but would never push him - just wish I could get it out of my head sometimes!!

We were together for 9 years and have now been married 2 years! We always knew we would get married as we spoke about it quite early on, but didn't want a long engagement, just when we were ready we would get engaged then married in quick succession. We have been together since we were 16 though so maybe our age meant we waited. We were busy with uni etc, and then once we were ready to settle down and have children that was when marriage became our priority.

We met in March 2008, and were engaged in July 2008. The wedding is set for 3 weeks time!

This si a good thread i met my ex when i was 16 we were engaged when i was 17 living together at 18 first child at 21 but we didnt get married until we had been together for nearly 12yrs we split 2 yrs later. New fella i have known for two years been together officially for 18months we cant get engaged yet as we are both still married to our previous partners due to financial constraints but we do plan on getting engaged and married in the future we are expecting our first child in 3 wks time :-)
