MFD - is the booby club you go to a surestart thing? I'd like to go to one but I'm quite shy
Also having issues with DSs behaviour at the moment too which stops me going out as much as I'd like.
Just off to catch up.........
Pinkpig - I go to a SureStart booby group. It's in a room big enough to take Imogen too when I change her nursery day. There are lots of toys and activities for her, a BF support person and usually the centre manager around, so it would probably work for you, esp as you could get some advice on your DS.
Sorry I've been AWOL for so long. Just can't seem to spare the time to get on - and ANOTHER new thread?! You girls can talk!
Alex is doing well, but at that stage where he needs to be held to go to sleep. He tends to go off about 9pm, I get him up for a feed about 11pm. Then he's up 3-4am and 6-7am. Can't really complain. His colic seems to be getting better, Colief is such a miracle! The screaming is much less these days, hardly any last night apparently.
I went out to a meeting about a new playground which the council are building as part of this new govt cash. It will have to be built by March (no rush there then!). I've volunteered to be part of a working group to help out.
I'm also back to doing some freelance work which will help pay for the holiday and possibly a new car. DH was out looking at them yesterday, completely unprompted by me!
Better go and fix lunch while Alex is quiet. Hope you're all well. Elle - glad Rhys is doing well, so pleased for you all that you have your house back too! :TMSE Parent Club Member #1Yummy slummy mummy club member50% slummy, 50% mummy, 100% proudImogen born Boxing Day 2006Alex born 13 July 20090 -

I have that problem (it's always low when it's tested but not low enough for them to do anything). One thing I've started doing is putting liver in stuff. I don't like liver as liver but what I do is saute chopped liver then blend it in the food processor until it looks a bit like mince and add it to mince dishes like spaghetti bolognaise or chilli.
Weezl - have you heard of Floradix possibly a cheaper alternative to spatone? (I'm not sure of the dosage or what the other things in it do)My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »I really must stop tasting Benjamins porridge...I forget it is made with house white :eek:MFD - is the booby club you go to a surestart thing? well i have just had the HV out for a whole 2 hours:eek: she isnt happy with me and said my anxiety levels are too high? she is speaking to doctor this week before i go back? she watched charlie and played with him for a while. she said he definatly doesnt have adhd as he asked to go to bed and went straight to sleep while she was here lol! she said that he does have problems but she is not sure exactly what. one being he is 19 months in speach but in size and mentally he is a lot older, she said he is very clever but is very frustrated. she is refering him to another place as she thinks the hospital will say physically there is nothing wrong so theres nothing we can do. she is also looking into a special funded nursery to give us restbite! im over the moon that she is so helpful and willing to do lots to help us out. dont feel that im banging my head on a brick wall too! sorry for the ramble just needed to tell someone:DWhat's for you won't go past you0 -

I suppose I can't really comment, being male and neither of my partners ever wanted to cry for their Mummy. Saying that, the first one did a little bit I suppose.A-level results are in, BIL got 4 A's :T:j I can't beleive he's off to uni all growed up!0 -

Yay for a-level results and HVs!
Caz, does Abi like the double pram you found?
Just remembered Feely asked me how long Rhys was.. Don't know about when he was born (more important things to be getting on with!), but when they measured him at 38wks he was 44cm. It was like a bit of an after-thought though - they only did it when we prompted them out of curiousity. They could have done it way sooner than they did.0 -
Sami - when I got Caitlyn weighed last week they gave me a leaflet to fill in to register. Will have to fill it in and take it.
Elle - glad you've got your house back!Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0
