Your one sounds alot like the hurty ouchy one I got from toys r us because I didnt want to pay alot for a pump. More fool me. That thing pulled my nipple and half of my breast into the hard plastic, much too small tube and didnt let go for love nor money. I cannot believe they are allowed to sell those [STRIKE]implements of torture[/STRIKE] pumps as they are enough to put you off breast feeding all by themselves.

So you'll be relieved to hear that the medela mini electric does the suck stop suck stop thing and is a million times more comfortable. It is loud but i'm sure you'll forgive it of only for the comfort factor alone!

Toby has a toy arch and a bright ring. OHe has a few little toys - hand knitted teddies, Actvity Bears, teethers and a couple of rattles. I've bought two toys (Eddie the Elephant and a crawlling cube), the rest were presents from Nanna.

Dont be saying things like that.... no present shopping done and bump is due then.... only good news is that I have all my christmas dinner veg growing in the garden fingers crossed and hope to make 5 Xmas cakes in the next few weeks !

Toby weighs 20lb 7oz, only gained 3oz this week, but still following the line. He is getting more active, he keeps going up on his hands and doing leg crawling movements, but not going anywhere. HV mentioned baby rice again, I asked if they do any BLW talks here, but they don't. I could start him on baby rice though!

Opinions needed please, and bearing in mind that the teacher is a friend of mine I have a little problem with Bens new class. It's the only class in the school that do not allow drinks bottles and we have been told it's due to lack of space. Now with working in the school I know that is not true as she did not allow bottles in her old room twice the size. She has tol dparents they are allowed drinks from cups provided throughout the day, I also know this to be wrong as they would have half a small beaker of water mid morning and most days forget the other drink mid afternoon, having said that even those 2 very small drinks are not enough. I also know that as lovely as the TA is she does not wash them well in hot soapy water and if the kids do help themselves they often put it back with the clean cups and then the next child uses the same. I really think that he should have access to his own clean sports bottle but don't want to have to make a fuss. Any ideas?

i have the grand total of 1 present got but as im only buying for 12 people im not to bothered :Dx
